Random Lessons from Steve Jobs biography: 1. Passions can be evolved though a reality distortion field and failures. 2. Perfectionism is the ideal and a mental prison. Be careful. 3. Stay a child forever. But acknowledge your children before the death bed. 4. Wtf knew so much went in the unseen parts of a macbook. 5. You don't have to be an engineer to create change (still be appreciative of any type of engineers). 6. Be a visionary. 7. Don't manipulate others, lie to get ahead, or steal ideas. Yet, if you are crazy enough that others still find you charming >.< 8. If you walk in the snow-wear sandles. 9. "You never know who you are not too." Steve met a chef who he found out later was his biological father. 10. Change the word. Think different. But don't forget to change yourself and show others you love them before life presses the off switch-Steve Job would prefer it stated the "sleep" or "restart" button (he didn't like on/off switches). It's amazing how beloved a person can be by millions. However, the few that were closest fought for his attention. Passions are great. But don't forget to be aware of who is there while you change the world. Regardless, "think different." (side note: who knew how small details have a story. Steve Jobs had to fight his way against using "think differently", even though others argued for making it an adverb-steve found his way.) One last lesson, I don't care how poor or rich, serve the servers with respect. It saddens me when you hear, read, see, or feel the experiences of how servers are treated. If only you knew.... #audiobook #audible #lessons #stevejobs #bookoftheday #day1 #education
