Sadeas on his way to Urithiru when he runs into Adolin.
Kaladin getting so giddy because he gets to tell Navani that her son is safe and in a place no assassin would think to look. Meanwhile Elhokar is having the worst time of his life because an angry Herdazian woman is yelling at him for not eating his food.
Elhokar is Dalinar's Tien.
I just need to say, if Kaladin had not extended his trust and subsequently Dalinar had not extended his own as well to Rlain, that scene on the planes when they were marching to Narak would have turned out very differently.
Rlain would have definitely still found this new stormform terrifying, but maybe he would have gone with it anyway because humans only hurt his people. But because Kaladin said he was bridge four, said he was his brother, and was trusted enough to be given a spear and guard, he decided that what his people were becoming was worth fighting against.
I am emotional over him
Just finished words of radiance and I may be freaking out a bit. How am I supposed to read my other books when the next book is right there?
Shallan asking about Adolin defecating in his shardplate. I'm calling it shartplate now lmao
thank you for reminding me of the joy of shartplate. and for reminding me that (relatively maybe) new ppl are joining the fandom!
I've only started stormlight 2 months ago and I have not been able to pick up another book since. Every time I try, my mind just goes back to the archives. I cannot move on. I'm nearly finished with words of radiance and I need to read other books, but Oarhbringer is right there
Dalinar RAN when he heard Kaladin came back from the planes alive. That is absolutely his son who he thought was dead.
KALADIN NO!
I’m sorry
I can’t believe it’s the first stormlight thing I did

Please tell me i am not the only one frustrated with Shallan. Her constant "let's go into danger with no plan!" Makes me want to shake her vigorously and slap sense into her, omg
God I love Renarin. He wants so badly to be useful so he goes to bridge four and practically begs Kaladin to let him join.
Modern Kaladin can quote Shakespeare and he does it as a way to flirt.
Kaladin casually scaring the shit out of Szeth because he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing and Szeth knows exactly what he's doing.
If this is WoR then it's also because Kaladin is stronger than Szeth. Swearing an Ideal grants you WAY more efficient use of Stormlight, which increases per Ideal sworn.
Whereas Honourblades are meant to be powered directly by the Herald's connection to Honour, iirc, so they consume much more Stormlight.
INFERNO THEY MIGHT NOT KNOW THAT IT'S AN HONORBLADE!!!! But yes that's why honorblade Surgebinding sucks.
Taravangian calls them Honourblades in the Interlude immediately afterwards iirc?
WAT SPOILERS BELOW
Its okay guys, I'm not that concerned about spoilers like this! Big event spoilers is where I wouldn't want information! But I appreciate the concern lol

Oh I do not doubt that for a second. Its my first read through and I just find it so funny that the terrifying assassin who has been using these powers for years is scared off by a man who just figured out he can use those powers.

The image of Adolin and Kaladin duking it out while Renarin is jumping off a roof in the background while in full shardplate is sending me lmao
