Its so cute how kaladin thinks about how adolin would react at seeing roshones fashion even though its his first time home in like 5 years
The even better part is how he just throws a punch straight at roshones nose a page later and says its for his friend even though said friend betrayed him and left him and then procedes to not regret it but scold himself because it is almost a violation of his oaths

You know how you sometimes ask a question and then answer it at the same time? I was just thinking about why was Roshone out here being friends with Elhokar? Isn't he like twice his age?. And then I thought, of course he's was out here befriending the king's dumb ass kid. Cronyism is the answer and it (kinda, sorta, almost) worked for him.
And of course, he pushed his agenda while Gavilar was out hunting conspiracies, and Dalinar was on a bender.

Stormlight Archive AU in which the merchant caravan Moash is in travels to Hearthstone not long after Roshone becomes citylord. Little Kal thinks Moash is super cool since he’s from a big city and has traveled a lot. Plus, they are at the same caste level, so there isn’t awkwardness and resentment between them like Kal has with the other Hearthstone kids, and the two of them hit it off. Moash thinks his chance for vengeance has miraculously presented itself. And Lirin and Hesina think they gotta help this poor, angry orphan kid.

uff... this one! This one felt like work! But I wanted to draw it for a long time now. Mainly I wanted to draw Hesina with that awespren around her head, but somehow just that didn’t feel impactful enough, so, storms, I needed a bit of the scene leading up to it. And if that means drawing half the population of Hearthstone! Now I am feeling a bit flat. Like a flounder. *flops back to the nice and easy character designs*
Elhokar, then Roshone. Shouldn't Moash's next target be Dalinar?
