Gotta be honest: don't care.
Okay, fine, I'll add nuance. Of course, it's proof of how dangerous Trump is, and how much he's always "governed" like a gangster, that his party is afraid to go against him. It's also proof of how irredeemable and shit-for-brained his supporters are that they're like rabid dogs, barking and snarling at any Republican who may disagree with Daddy Trump. But why am I unsympathetic? Several reasons which should be obvious: they took an oath to uphold the Constitution, they've actively harmed millions of people with their social safety net cuts, they could have stopped that pig in the White House by convicting him in the Senate for January 6th and then his power would’ve been gone forever, and Democrats have to deal with the exact same threats they do (if not more) and they stand against Trump anyway.
People always conveniently forget that bit. Democrats are called the spineless party (because the parties are gendered and everyone thinks Dems/liberals are feminine and weak and Republicans are masculine and strong), but despite what lying Poasters say, they have consistently called out Trump for everything over the past decade while constantly being threatened by Republicans. There have been violent attacks by MAGA against Democrats (like against Paul Pelosi, and the murder of Melissa Hortman and her husband (and their dog :/)). But Democrats don't stop standing up to Trump and voting against him. Republicans can go cry about it.
