Oni Lloyd headcanons

•HE GOT LITTLE PADS ON HIS PAWS

•He has a tail and it ends in fluff

•Will growl and hiss at you

•Try and touch his paw beans and there’s almost no chance you’ll live

•Much more aggressive

•Voice got somewhat deeper

•Refuses to ever admit it but he is touch-starved

•Likes to hang out on top of buildings when he wants to be alone

•He curls up when he sleeps and will p u r r

•”What’s the matter, Kai? Jealous that I have all this power? Much more than that pathetic staff ever offered, I assure you.”

•In the event of him ever killing the ninja(if he did I mean it depends on one’s opinion) he would definitely take some form of a trophy from each of them; both to show off his victory and because he would still want a part of his friends close.

-Perhaps he would tie their respective sashes to a belt around his hip or something

-Would he keep some of them alive? Would he kill them at all? Who knows, depends on your own hc’s

•Still has a sweet tooth

-His diet would consist mostly of meat also

•Has to file down his horns when they get too big

•His blood is a really dark maroon-purple color

•Gets some satisfaction from watching people suffer

Now if he was an oni but still really loved his friends, BUT was still evil...

•The ninja disapprove of his “protection” methods

•In the event that he’s an oni and has joined his dad, he would most likely imprison what of the ninja he could to keep them “safe”

-“You can’t do this Lloyd, this is WRONG! You’re hurting innocent people!”

“The only people I care about is my family. And if keeping you safe means putting you in chains, then so be it!”

•Would do his best to explain his reasoning to them, but we all know they wouldn’t listen to it. Hell if he’s attached to the ninja enough he might even ask them to join him

-To Kai: “You know exactly how it feels to gain power, Kai, you just had it so briefly you never figured out what to do with it. But I know what to use this power for, and it’s to protect those I care about. Everyone else can go to hell. You understand that, don’t you? Going to whatever lengths necessary to keep the people you love safe. This is what that looks like.”

-To Jay: “We all know you’re too weak to protect yourself, Jay. But now I can keep you safe, I can keep all of you safe. And I can help you can do that too if you’d let me.”

-To Cole: “Being a leader means making the hard choices, and I made mine, plenty of times. This was a hard choice, but I can assure you it was the right one. Wouldn’t you know about making difficult decisions, Cole?”

-To Nya: “You’ve always said you never wanted to be a part of the boys’ club; well now I give you the chance to be something more. Be their protector, because First Master knows they need you to be that.”

-To Zane: “You’re always saying that you were built to protect those who couldn’t protect themselves. Zane, you have sacrificed yourself for our protection countless times, and that’s what I’m doing now. I never wanted to be a monster, but I did what was needed to protect you all. So won’t you fulfill your purpose and protect them with me?”

COLE

•He got one of the worst endings, and has huge abandonment issues.

•He does anything he can to keep people from leaving him

•He’s so afraid of being left alone for all eternity in that temple

•Yearns to venture outside the temple and desperately wants to see the outside world again

•Zane built a computer that allows him access to cameras all around Ninjago, but it’s not the same

•He wants to feel again, too

•He misses his friends and he misses that they never all come together anymore for obvious reasons

•Very very severe depression, but I don’t think he can die at all since he’s tied to the house

•HE MISSES HIS DAD; LOU IS TOO UPSET ABOUT WHAT’S BECOME OF COLE TO VISIT HIM IT’S SO SAD

LLOYD

•He was just so exhausted after losing all his friends, and while he has a few regrets, being evil with his father makes him feel better than he has in a while

•He enjoys it the best he can, but one of the things he misses most is his friendships

•Mainly Kai since the former red ninja despises him. Kai thinks him a w i t c h

•He gets lonely sometimes, but he thinks it’s all worth it since he gets to be with his dad again

•Although he does like to hang out with what ninja are left when he can

•That basically means Jay and Zane, since Kai hates him, Nya is starting a rebellion against his father, and he and Cole...had a falling out...

ZANE

•He’s one of the most accepting of the ninja since he sought out to be “evil” without much prodding

•Still, there is some good left in him. He misses Pixal, and he visits the ninja when he can

•He’ll visit Cole a lot since the ghost boi is the most lonely. He and Jay also get along very well. He sometimes hangs out with Lloyd, not that much. Kai always gets very protective of Zane when they’re together btw. He’s in a mindset of “Zane’s in danger must protecc” 24/7.

KAI

•He fucking enjoys himself

•The only time he’s ever really down is when he encounters Nya because he’s hit with a wave of guilt and the strongest need to apologize to her

•Sometimes, when he looks in the mirror, he’ll linger there wondering how it all came to this

•He really really hates to think about if he’s doing the wrong thing, and instead covers for it with a lot of pizzazz and glitter and showmanship

JAY

•Is the most upbeat about his situation

•The only person he doesn’t get along with much is Kai since they fight over sea territory a lot

•While he sometimes misses his old life, he prefers to think of how much ‘better’ things are now

•He has a confidence boost and no one dares to mock him anymore

•He’s still best friends with Cole uwu

•OH YEAH- he HATES looking at his body because of how many horrible scars he has; it can give him flashbacks

•He misses Nya and wishes Kai would talk to him

NYA

•Oh boy, this girl has it bad

•She drinks sometimes and has really bad insomnia, not to mention trust issues

•She really lacks in the self-care department, sometimes forgetting to eat or shower, etc

•Blames herself for not doing something to help the ninja

•Her eyes are really puffy from crying so much

•However, at one point she gets over this horrible grief and gets really really fucking badass

•”Sitting around moping about my situation won’t help anyone; the only way I can help them is if I do something.”
