Hey so I haven't posted like, at all, since surgery and I'm sorry.

I had a minor complication which has led to recurrent infections and I'm just exhausted. I'm lucky that I don't need any more help, I just don't have much left in me rn.

I didn’t post this. Check my blog. I spent a week trying to find out who edited it but I have no clue.

As I lay in hospital, surrounded by nurses and sick people and yet utterly alone- it really fucking upset me.

Make your own fucking post. It might be funnier than mine, or have a wider appeal! But how fucking disrespectful do you have to be to put my name on it?

I am actually frightened to post this. I don’t know what kind of sabotage the person who edited my post could do.

I made the original post because I was frightened about my own surgery. And I am heartened by the support I got. But this? This anonymous maggot? Kinda undid a lot of good people’s work.

Thanks to the people who helped me piece this together- seems to have been a submission from 2017 that was weirdly similar to the post I made 2 years later, which started recirculating at the same time- no doubt I remembered it without realising where it originally came from.

I apologise for my hubris- I could make excuses but I shouldn't. I'll delete my second post as it wasn't as original as I thought.

Update: Surgery Friday

So hey, I’m absolutely overcome. Thank you so much for your reblogs and the donations from those of you who were able.

I’m still absolutely bricking it so... remember that time a bunch of you sent your WIPs so I had something to look at in hospital? If you could do that again it’d be awesome.

From what I’ve read, I might struggle to move my arms post-surgery but if/when I can, I will start doing some... inadvisable things with 40k.
