i cannot believe that no one in this fandom talks about the scene in die hand die verletzt where mulder literally rolls on top of scully to save her from a bullet. this is one of those little moments i freaked the fuck out about when i was first watching the show. like this is such a good episode with peak hurt/comfort msr (the shower scene, mulder flipping out and running to scullys aid leaving that dude to get eaten by a snake because the demon faked a frantic phone call from scully) but i have found no fic about it? where’s my hurt/comfort post ep? where’s my fic about scully confronting the fact that she’s been kidnapped twice in a two episode time span? where’s a fic where they’re so desperate to get out of that creepy ass town that they drive out in their wet clothes and hair and show up at a hotel with only one room available and must confront their (shared this time) trauma? where’s the badass sequel where the demon fucking returns?
