Doodles coming soon probably, I drift in and out of fallout just because of how my brain works . I'm drifting in again because I ranted about fo4 yesterday.sorru I just use this as a fallout diary sometimes lol . This post might actually be interesting though

Like 4 or 5 years ago (gags) I drew Benny fanart with a white streak in his hair because I genuinely saw that in his model and it's been my favorite design addition to him, it just fits so well.

That is to say I wanna redraw that , because I think the headcannon has kind of spread to a few other artists, mainly through jarold_chris_rat because he actually posts in fallout spaces. I don't really like giving myself that much credit for the hc I'm sure people have come up with it before me but seeing it directly spread to other people has been nice because it genuinely is a good addition to his design imo. Anyways .

Drawing that, and some doodles later. I actually think one of the old white streak Benny drawings is on my og blog I'll have to check .

Id like to hear if anyone has experience seeing that hair headcannon anywhere aside from me, or if thought he had it in his model too. (And ... acknowledging the new shit update probably do it in the replies because reblog chains mean nothing now)

i hate being a fallout fan because for 1. i think fallout 4 sucks in alot of ways even if i love it. but for 2. i dont want to agree with nv glazers because they hate it for the wrong reasons.

do i even hate fallout 4 for my own reasons or have i just relented to the opinions of the glazers just because its all ive heard for the 5 years ive been into the game?? maybe its cus im a newgen fan and was brought up in a really bad era of online fallout content (hate that word but it fits this situation) which is just impartial to hating fallout 4

thats probably right partially, but i do have very solid opinions on why i hate parts of fallout 4 (ones i also have opinions on how i would fix) so i dont think im just relenting to those guys

i hate those kinds of fans because they dont actually want better for fallout as a series, they just wanna bash modern fallout while uncritically praising new vegas and the first games, not even considering the issues those had. like new vegas specifically, people will talk about how much they want obsidian to remaster it, and to me that shows how ignorant they are of just. everything. obsidian is no where near the same company it was when it made new vegas, them developing it wouldnt somehow make it a perfect product, all it would really accomplish is having obsidians name on the box and intro screen lol. that isnt to say theyd do a bad job, itd probably be good, but ive heard the company is pretty much done developing under publishers like bethesda. so theres that.

its basically just a mentality of "bethesda bad, obsidian good" which is just a fully unproductive way of looking at the games, let alone the two companies and/or the way they develop games.

i think more robots should be disabled actually. robots whose bodies keep falling apart and need much more consistent repairs. robots whose bodily upkeep is hard and laborious and exhausting. robots who physically cant do things without help from another individual. robots who are imperfect and dont fit the bill of a flawless machine. i want more of this waiter please bring me more disabled robots
