peter is the salvatore’s half nephew. they had a half brother, who had a son and bam! peter is why.
peter became a father early on, but his wife died a childbirth and later, his daughter died of an illness.
when he was 19 years old, he was turned into a vampire. he had a secret lover, who gave him his blood. He was about to die after getting injured, she feed him her blood. Later, he was killed for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
the town was suspicious of peter, so he fled with his secret lover. however, he was found left alone. he wasn’t sure if she died or ran away.
peter found himself back in mystic falls to find his uncles.
peter drinks mostly from blood bags, but his anger can led to a few bodies on the floor.
“ Well, to start off , I need to kill tristan de martel in front of his sister who’s desperate to be with him. She’s the whole reason why I’m stuck in this stupid town in the past in the first place . “ She had no reason to hide she was from the future any more . “ But first , Kent taylor . “ She nodded towards the crowd below . “ The pup wearing pink . I’m going to need you to kill him . After consuming my blood .” She told him before thinking about the merge . “ You can merge with your brother , Lucas . You’re both 22 now .Jo doesnt really have her powers yet . Annoying as it is . Question is , do you want to be leader just to be it or want to kill your entire coven ? Because door number two, you can kill them all WITHOUT the merge .”
Kai blinked his eyes several times at her statement “Terry, who? And sister wants to...what?” He shook his head. “The past?” Kai wouldn’t put it past him, if he was stuck living the same day over again for years, he wouldn’t doubt what she just spoke. His eyes scanned over the crowd, his eyes landing on the boy in the pink, Kyle. “You want to recruit that guy into your life?” Kai suppressed a laugh, “What, you got a little crush on him? I could see you going out with a guy like him, but man, pink is not his color. Makes him look a bit pale.” He rambled, eyes glued onto the blonde boy, holding a glass in his hand as he bantered with others.
He thought for a moment. Kai wanted to be better, but the fuel to fire only led down to one person--his father. He came to terms that his siblings were just being kids, they weren’t purposefully seeking out to ruin Kai like his father was--and the rest of the coven. The members looked down upon him, a monster in the making, the clear definition of an abomination. “How do you reckon without the merge?” He felt confident with his skills, but the lack of constant power was the problem.
“ Good to know something other than murder and dead bodies gets it up for you .” Hope mocked . Rolling her eyes . “ Well, you are hot . Someone I wouldn’t mind sinking my teeth into . Most of the people down there , including your little human girlfriend . “ Hope thought about kent . then kai who was just a siphoner . Did he even know about the fact that if he turns he would be a heretic . “ I need to kill all of my father’s enemies . I already murdered a fraction of them . I have a way for you to get constant magic . Do you still want to be your coven leader? “ She wondered
“Oh, don’t forget Baywatch.” He mused, but after so many times re-watching the film, it failed to peak his interest anymore. Did Hope not know his girlfriend was immortal? “You have to be more specific about enemies, Hope. I can’t read minds. Not my thing.” He disregarded the comment about Lyanna and his appearance. “What’s the idea?” He chewed on the inside of his cheek, “That would be fun, but I can’t find a certain someone to merge with. Why?”
“Lyanna is getting you a little too mushy for my taste .” Hope replied without missing a beat . “ Aren’t you bored of playing white picket fence? I need you to do what you do best … Start killing some people in the ball . Hey , you can even start with your precious lyanna to impress me.” She amusingly smiled. “ We can dance after.”
"A little too mushy? She makes me hard, if you ask me.” He tilted his head to the side stepping up a step, finger dragging against the rail. “You sound jealous,” Kai teased, winking at her before shaking his head. “No purpose in killing Lyanna, don’t you think? Rather do something useful if you needed my help.” His eyes scanned over the place. “I need constant magic, you need...whatever you need--what do you need, again?”
Hope rolled her eyes at the sight of kai . Amused by his words. “ Didn’t you have a girlfriend? or what are you in the outs already? Maybe I should have fun with her… or kill her. Either one is always fun .” She slyly smirked .
“Lyanna is amazing, so kind and thoughtful for you to ask.” He placed his hand over his heart. “It almost makes me...feel warm inside.” Kai pursed his lips. “Did you need me for something, or not? I feel like, what’s better than to make plans with you than at a little ball. I’ll even dance with you.”
the viking brunette was sitting in the library looking out the window as she thought about her situation . Eyes , falling towards a couple of already drunk people that were outside . While she learned that the dead are back for good . She still wasn’t sure if she even belonged here . Thoughts all came to a stop when someone came in . “ — Already trying to escape the party “ She mused once she turned her gaze at them .
Kent cleared his throat, fixing the collar of his suit with his tie. He looked at the brunette, furrowing his brows. He wondered who this was--Elena? Katherine? Tati? He could never spot the difference. He nodded his head, shaggy blonde hair pushed off to the side. “Yea, you could say that.” Kent cleared his throat. “Parties aren’t my thing...well, Balls aren’t my thing--but parties are.” He let out a light laugh. “I thought it would be empty in here...get away, y’know.”
Hope went out of her room once she finished getting ready . Wearing all black and lace for the ball . Her aunt and the woman who looked like elena helping her out pick out a dress for it . While it wasn’t so bad , she was annoyed at the ball in general . Getting to the top of the stairs she noticed someone coming up . “ Up stairs if off limit . I’m pretty sure everyone knows that .” Hope gave attitude towards them . After all this was their home and one thing for sure , she ddin;t want anyone snooping around her room or anyone else’s .
Kai rolled his eyes, shaking his head. He kept his hands tucked into the pockets of his suit. He wasn’t quite used to this attire, but the suit clung to his body well. “Is that how you talk to your guests?” He cocked his eyebrow, before smiling at her. “Didn’t you want to get to know me, or something?”
“ Meaning you do not have one and even if you did lie and I see you at the ball in some bad getup I would grab you by the ears and drag you to the nearest open store even if it is out of town ” She gave him a look as val snickered and her son did as well . Her husband working late at night. “ My boy is a little too big to fit someone as skinny as you . So we’re going out shopping . “ Her son told his mom right then to pick him something new to wear as well to which vanessa obliged . “ I’m not taking no as an answer kent .”
One of Kent’s hands traveled to his ear, wondering if she would actually pull him away. The thought of that was embarrassing, the idea made his cheeks flush red. “I have...clothes for baseball? Some sort of ball event, yea?” He was joking at this point, a crooked smile. Kent looked over at her children, looking at her son. He was visibly bigger than him--maybe Kent needed to work out more. He stood up from the table, cleaning up his mess quickly. “I might not have the money, Vanessa.” He admitted.
Hope looked kai over . wondering how special was this life time friend of his to him . “ You think ? A long time friend . So friends with benefits ?” She smiled at kai as she decided to test those waters . “ If she’s just a friend , mind me asking you out on a date ? Or just want to have fun with me?” She playfully asked. “ Either one , Im just wondering considering I’m interested in you and getting to know you.” One thing for sure , she didn’t need this love sick kai . She needed the kai she met and heard about .
“Fun with you? What’re you, fifteen? You’re a little too young for me.” Kai retorted, face scrunching and he almost thought that statement was comical. He lifted his hand in the air, flattening it out, “You gotta be this tall to ride.” He crossed his arms, not feeling too inclined to share anything about Lyanna. He didn’t want the one person he truly cared about to vanish for some reason. “Get to know me? My favorite movie is Baywatch, just in case that was your first question.”
Kent smiled at the familiar face, “Elena, your hair is curly today--it looks nice.” He complimented. He could feel something was off with her, but he couldn’t quite figure it out.
Kai felt someone watching him as he ate his fries, furrowing his brow, his eyes landed on a stranger’s face. “It’s not polite to stare, y’know. But it’s flattering.”
“So, uh, you going to the Ball?” Kent thought he had a way with words, but he didn’t. Valerie’s mom mentioned it earlier and he was just curious if her daughter would be attending. Part of him felt uneasy about attending, specifically due to the fact it’d be the Mikaelson’s.
