"Just call me Vivek, Arasaka's Lead Mechanic for Oversized Equipment."
The son of an Arasaka heart specialist and an Arasaka Neurosurgeon, Vivek was nudged to tinker with tools from a young age- urged to follow both of his parents into the medical field. As time went down, scalpels and sutures were replaced with wrenches and power drills.
To him, engines and machines were similar enough to one another. A cpu processor in place of a functioning brain, while wires and cables act as a substitute for arteries and blood vessels.
Vivek found himself bored with small technology and mechanical work, quickly tearing apart the engine to his own vehicle to gain the hands-on experience he desired before contracting with a local police department to conduct repairs and routine maintenance on the fleet's vehicles.
It wasn't long before he was itching to work on larger and more complex jobs, and contracted with Arasaka as a result; now conducting maintenance on AV's, mechs, and vehicles when needed.
When he heard a position even higher up had opened, to oversee the current department he was working in, he leapt at the opportunity.
Vivek is on call 24/7 for repairs for Arasaka's oversized equipment; this includes 2 am repair requests from none other than Adam Smasher himself when he returns from a gig.
