Hello and welcome!! This is a blog for Project SOLUS, a passion project created by two bored artists (@rookstalemate and @god-dammit-vinne). More rambling under the cut.
SOLUS follows six older teens navigating themselves through a zombie apocalypse, discovering themselves in a new and terrifying world.
SOLUS is a project that's existed for about a year now as an AU for a different fandom. a couple weeks ago, us the creators dug it out of the dusty corner of our brains and reworked it into a new project with original characters and new story beats.
With this rework, we will be telling this story through multiple means. Such as- but not limited to- comics, short stories, art, animations, and something you can get involved with, questions! These may even be accompanied with art.
With this in mind, let's introduce you to our cast!

Ramona Lyubimya is the protagonist of SOLUS. They are an energetic and mischievous person, but can get her act together in serious situations. They have fast reflexes and good hand-eye coordination, making them good in combat. Ramona is a transfeminine person of Russian descent and her pronouns are they/she. Their weapon is a hockey stick.
Marcus Enkhtuya is a major character of SOLUS. He is a socially anxious yet kindhearted person who is surprisingly good in battle. He has a knack for repairing machinery, especially cars. Marcus is a Mongolian-American transgender man and his pronouns are he/him. His weapon is a water gun he modified to shoot real bullets.
Liam Étienne is a major character of SOLUS. He’s a very energetic and extroverted person with a very kind personality. He’s the Dad Friend and the only one who can drive fast and safely at the same time. Liam is a Haitian-American cisgender man and his pronouns are he/him. His weapon is the car.
Olivia Étienne is a major character of SOLUS. She’s a pretty introverted person who comes off as angry or rude at first glance, but genuinely enjoys connecting with people when they give her a chance. Olivia has fast reflexes and is precise with her attacks, and has an amazing understanding of anatomy. Olivia is a Haitian-American cisgender woman and her pronouns are she/her. Her weapons are throwing knives.
Evan da Costa is a major character of SOLUS. He generally doesn’t talk much, but when they do, it’s usually a good idea to listen. He is extremely good at planning, but not so much at being on the front lines themself, so they tend to stay back with Liam when the others are out and about. Evan is an Angolan-Japanese nonbinary person and his pronouns are he/they. Their weapon is a taser.
Choraka Bunrueang is a major character of SOLUS. She's quite enthusiastic and genuinely kind, although he likes to swing insults. She gets irritated quick but she's quite apologetic and has a very strong sense of justice. He prides himself in straying from societal norms and being gender non conforming. Choraka is a Thai-American person and uses she/he (she pref). Her weapon is a baseball bat with nails in it

kinda tired of non binary being tied to skinny androgyny that's mostly white. I say that's as a non binary transmasc/boy thing who's fat and black.
being non binary can look like anything and anyone but especially individuals who have different body types outside of thin. they can have body/facial hair too. show up for all enbies.
