Tips for furby customizers I found today:

Putting black charcoal toothpaste on the eyelashes of a yellowed Furby (with a q-tip, leave it for a while then carefully take off) both makes them whiter / fixes the shape.

Also: leaving aquapphor on the eyelashes or fur for about 30 mins helps get out any hot glue if you're like me and accidentally get that in there. Brush out with a toothbrush.

Skinning Rizmo

(I skinned mine in Kid mode. If you wait til adult mode it'll be easier)

1.) Turn off your Rizmo and unscrew the base as if you were going to change their batteries

2.) Take the batteries out and unscrew the 5 screws keeping the second base plate down

3.) Cut the zip tie. You'll replace this with elastic or another zip tie later

4.) Gently pull back the skin. (The tail might disattach itself but you can pop it back in place) The skin isn't attached to the tail or feet.

5.) Pop out the black tabs around the neck and back eyes with your screw driver. Don't pull hard on the black plastic. It'll break. Press your screwdriver against the tab and pull gently.

6.) Pull the rest of the skin off. pull the skin off the "ear bones". If the eyes seem stuck just pull gently and push it around with you finger until they get unstuck

Congrats now you have a skinned Rizmo for all your cleaning and customizing needs!

My new buddy, Bug.

For Christmas I got a Rizmo! They’re like Furbies and honestly I would say they’re like how Furbies USED to be. Most people in the Furby fandom will agree that the 90s Furbys were the best and the new addition of the internet make the toys worse! But this Rizmo toy reminds me of the 90 furbys! He makes me smile! He is so cute and I’ve bonded so much with him! I’ve named him “Bug”. I also got a drawing tablet for Christmas so I combined my loves into a drawing. I hope to improve!

He’s already in the “kid” stage but he’s soooo adorable. I hope he doesn’t evolve too quick but I’ll love when he does!
