not my tweet or my fic (and there’s a good chance of this comment being a bot) but yeah, don’t do this. sure, some writers wouldn’t mind having fanfics (or direct continuation) of their fanfics written by someone else. some may even be thrilled and happy. but the fandom etiquette is that if you want to write a fanfic or a continuation of someone’s fanfic, YOU POLITELY ASK THE WRITER FOR THEIR PERMISSION. not their readers.

also 5 months isn’t long at all. 5 months is 5 minutes when it comes to fanfics. I’ve waited years for my favorite fics to get updated (one of my favorite fanfics was updated by the author after 13 years) and I’ve never said anything to them about “it’s been ___ years, I don’t think it will get updated anymore”. because another fandom / fanfic etiquette is that fanfic writers write for free in their free time, they don’t owe you anything. maybe they will update one day. maybe they won’t. if you want your favorite fic to get updated, you comment something like “this is good!! I’m excited for what happens next” and maybe your positive comment will motivate the author to update. but you don’t say “it’s been ___ months or years”. fanfics writers write for themselves and their own enjoyment. they’re just kind enough to let you read their works for free. stop being rude and entitled to fanfic writers.

My trip to the 24 hours of the Nürburgring!! I was going to be in Germany anyway so a friend and I went! I even got to meet some discord friends in a server I’m in!!

I got to see team Verstappens car!! I didn’t get to see Max in person but some of my discord friends were able to see him!! So many trains and I was awake for over 32 hours. Don’t recommend that! But regardless of all of the travel time it was an absolute blast!! I now want to go to a Formula One and rally race! I’ve got the car itch and I think I’ve got it for life!

Not to beat a dead horse again, but I find it quite amusing that George fans are losing their minds over the Red Bull admin making a joke. calling it inhumane and very dangerous (actual words used), acusing red bull of inciting hate towards George (Red Bull wasn't original, I said the same thing during the race).

while at the same time not admitting that if Red Bull is using George's own words against him as evil as they say, George himself would be inciting hate against another driver by doing the original interview in the first place. But I guess the hypothetical apple doesn't fall far from the hypocritical tree.

Whoever is saying that is an idiot and I would be happy to tell them that to their face. So when George said it he was being a 'diva' and 'iconic' but when its said back to him it is suddenly dangerous. I can't take these people seriously, their defence is as amusing and as ineffective as George's when he's trying to battle a teenager on track.

Formula One genuinely has the softest, most sensitive sports fanbase. Not that you can expect much from a fanbase whose favourite pastime is holding beauty contests on social media. Like why is RBR admin catching heat for the mildest tweet ever? Also, GR63 fans acting like it’s some hurtful comment, all the while it’s just your driver’s words being thrown back at him? You think George Russell didn’t make that comment with some ulterior motive? Then he wouldn’t need to script it in the first place.

And no amount of whataboutism regarding Max is gonna change the fact that Russell is no angel either. Max being a track terrorist doesn’t mean you can use that to shift blame from Russell where it’s due. There’s a reason that scripted quote became a meme. Ultimately, you reap what you sow.

Also, why are they acting like Mercedes hasn’t been tweeting shit since forever? Dishing out is okay but getting served is suddenly a problem?

What a bunch of hypocrites. These people would be the first ones to praise Merc if they ever again have the guts to post something snarky against RBR (they’ve been silenced too many times by now). But oh well. Doesn’t feel all that good, right?

Surely, your driver’s feelings are not gonna get hurt (he has bigger things to worry about) because in the spirit of regular sports shithousery, RBR admin tweeted “borderline something something”?

One word of your driver’s so-called “iconic” quote getting thrown back at him shouldn’t make you guys this miserable. But you do you. ✌️
