The Consultant: there’s a reason this is a one shot, it adds nothing to any storyline. it only serves to connect tony to general ross and give us an actual look at tony as a consultant. lighting was weird even for a one shot that seemed like an after thought

first of all, this is the second hulk movie, not the first one. why isn't the first one on the list? beats me. but don't worry if you haven't seen the first one because the horrible intro gave you a recap of the first movie in a horrendous montage

i don't have anything kind to say about this movie, like, this movie could've been an email

i could've skipped this movie but where's the fun in that

based only on my (shit) memory, i'm pretty sure this is my favorite Iron Man movie which is kinda sad considering i'm only giving it a 3.5. again, not a bad movie, it just doesn't work for me as well as others do.

as an f1 fi did love the grand prix scene and here's the one thing i actively wrote down while watching this movie: most unrealistic part of this whole movie is tony driving a formula car, literally booting out his driver and driving the car himself.

i did love natasha in this, kinda forgot this was the movie she was introduced in.

i watched this movie yesterday btw, just completely forgot to post about it

my next watch, which i've already watched as of writing this, is The Incredible Hulk

okay, listen, Iron Man isn't a bad movie, i've just never really been a big fan of this trilogy which is a bit weird since i do like tony stark. his character is great and i love his development throughout the movies all the way to Endgame

i will say, i am excited to see the other two movies as i have zero memories of them

my next watch is Iron Man 2

i remember how much people (men) hate this movie when it came out and i remember being in love with it when it came out. i've also watched Supergirl when it came out and it's sad to see both movies basically getting the same treatment by men who call themselves superhero fans despite the two movies coming out 7 years apart

anyway, i still love this movie, i think it's a solid origin story with loveable characters. i don't really have anything bad to say about the movie, the cgi did look bad at time but i absolutely loved the way the vfx team animated her powers, the way her skin glows with her powers, it's a true work of art

i love how easy the friendship between monica and carol is (lesbians i say but maverl were cowards). same goes for nick and carol, they become friends so quickly (and they stay friends even though they're galaxies apart from decades after)

my next watch, which i've already started, is Iron Man!

Agent Carter (Season 2) | 2.75 stars | 1 049/31 051 minutes (3,38%) | 158 days before Doomsday

took me two days to finish the second season. it's not a bad season per say but it did feel like it dragged on from time to time. the romantic relationship between Peggy and Jason, the scientist, is frankly boring. i know it’s to show Daniel is in love with Peggy but still. i think that romantic plotline could've easily been avoided.

i absolutely love Edwin as a character, he's amazing.

i was rooting for Jack/Daniel to be canon even though i knew it was never gonna happen. rude how they just killed Jack off like that to tease a third season that never happened.

overall, it is a pretty good show but it's not a bingeable one in my opinion. i think i would've had a better experience if i had taken my time, maybe watching one or two episodes max per day.

my next watch is Captain Marvel!

as im watching station 19, i can't help but wonder 9-1-1, more precisely the 118, doesn't have lieutenants? i know it's not something station 19 came up with because both of the 9-1-1 spinoffs (lone star and nashville) have lieutenants (judd and ryan).

so why is there no lieutenants of the 118?? did i miss something or?? like you'd think whilst bobby was still alive, either hen or chim would be lieutenants and then once chim is captain, it'd be hen

Agent Carter (Season 1) | 4 stars | 604/31 051 minutes (1,95%) | 160 days before Doomsday

before watching the first season of Agent Carter, i watched the Agent Carter One Shot. it's a short 16 minutes story so there isn't much place for character development. it's mostly just Peggy being a badass as per usual. the One Shot does however make zero sense because it ends with Peggy being told she'll run SHIELD with Howard Stark but the show Agent Carter starts with Peggy still being part of the SSR. so just maybe, it was at the wrong place in the timeline but it doesn't matter much.

anyway, for the actual show, the first season feels a bit long in some places but it is pretty interesting to watch as Peggy tries to carve her place into a world that's built to keep her out of it. i've only watched this show once before but i didn't remember anything so it's as if it was my first watch.

i love the relationships all the characters have with one another and Edwin is just so dear to me

i have two more things to say:

i do have ao3 opened, there's something something about Jack and Daniel (read here Jack/Daniel) and Jack, Daniel and Peggy (read here Jack/Daniel/Peggy)

Howard is so fucking gay for Steve, it's crazy. "I know you loved him, I loved him too." is a crazy line and can only mean one thing: Howard was in love with Steve (and i could also push to say they were a throuple and now Peggy and Howard are left picking up the pieces)

obviously, my next watch is the second season of the show!

Captain America The First Avenger | 4.5 stars | 252/31 051 minutes (0,81%) | 161 days before Doomsday

just finished watching the first Captain America, obviously, solid movie, i love it. this might have been my 6th watch, i'm not sure, all the movies all the way up to infinity war, i've seen quite a lot of time.

anyway, love this movie. i honestly forgot just how small pre-serum!Steve is, it's crazy. i'm also a really big stucky shipper so seeing the two together after so long is amazing. i wonder if steve and bucky will cross paths again in doomsday. i mean, they're bound to right??

also, the two girls at the beginning, the ones bucky brought for a double date, yeah them, they're lesbians. bucky and steve were just an excuse so they could go on a date together without people questioning it, you can't convince me otherwise.

my next watch is Agent Carter!

Eyes of Wakanda | 4 stars | 125/31 051 minutes (0,4%) | 161 days before Doomsday

So I've just finished watching Eyes of Wakanda. Although it is really short (4 episodes for a total of 125 minutes), it's pretty good and I like that the last episode ties in with the first Black Panther movie. This was my first watch of the show.

I'm not a huge fan of the animation style but that's pretty much the only complaint I have about it!

With that show finished, I'm 0,4% of the way through my rewatch of the MCU (yes, the total runtime is 31 051 minutes). To complete my rewatch before Doomsday, I have to watch almost 3h15min of movies/shows everyday.

My next watch is Captain America The First Avenger!

so some of you may know that i'm a huge marvel fan, however, i won't lie, i did lose a bit of interest when all the series started coming out, i got lost, tbh and i am terribly behind on the whole marvel lore which i want to fix before i go in the theaters to watch avengers doomsday!

so the crazy plan goes as follow, i will be watching the entirety of the mcu in chronological order. in addition, i will also be watching all the x-men movies since we know they'll be in the movie.

i wasn't able to find a list that includes the x-men movie in the main chronology so i'll be watching the mcu first and once i'm done, i'll be watching the x-men movies.

for those of you who are curious, i'm following this list for my rewatch of the universe and i'll be posting my thoughts on here as i go!
