Okay, I’ve been thinking about Toga’s quirk today and I’ve come up with a random question that’s really bothering me.

Day 1: Toga steals a persons blood Day 2: This person gets a haircut. Day 3: Toga drinks their blood ——

Does she have long hair or short hair?

This could lead to a lot of applications of her quirk in either scenario.

I think she would have the “properties” the blood contained at the time it was attained (long hair), but I’m not sure?

If her hair was long, that would mean that she inherits whatever attributes the person has at the time the blood was first taken. In theory, this could lead to her being able to take on a persons past appearance and abilities. Imagine the applications if she were to get someone likes All Might’s blood from back when they were in their prime. She could also use the blood of someone that had already died. (That’s a scary thought.) This makes the most sense to me, but the other option could potentially work too.

If her hair was short though, that would mean that her quirk recognized that the person had changed their appearance after the blood was taken. This shouldn’t be possible, right? If it was possible, would she have to see the person after their blood was taken in order for her quirk to be able to replicate their new appearance? Or does her quirk innately know that they have changed? Does the blood somehow “foresee” the changes it will go under? …If a person dies after she takes their blood does she look like a zombie??? Each answer I think of just opens the door to more questions 🥲.

I love that both of them used their new costumes to pay homage to their original teachers. I think it gives a little bit of a “full circle” feel to them learning and growing from the experiences these two provided them with.

Okay, so, I am constantly creating rhythms. It’s how I fidget or “stim” if you will. When I’m bored, when I’m nervous, when I’m focused, when I’m zoned out; I’m always making some new combination of beats. There’s tons of different ways I do it too:

Tapping my fingers on a table or against themselves

Drumming my hands on my legs or a nearby surface

Clicking my tongue or tapping my teeth

Humming or breathing in a pattern

Doing a task or hobby to a certain tempo

Sometimes it’s an actual song or amalgamation of what I’ve listened to that day. Other times it’s a 4 count riff that I repeat over and over until someone tells me to sit still. Usually I don’t even notice I’m doing it, and it feels uncomfortable to stop in the middle of a “song”. I feel the need to finish the phrase before I can move on to something else.

I don’t really understand if it’s just a form of fidgeting or an unconscious habit of some sort. My anxiety, ocd, and adhd are pretty well controlled, but for some reason I can’t stop this compulsion. People tend to react differently to it. My family has tried to rid me of the bad habit for years now. My friends have accepted it as a fun little idiosyncrasy of mine.

The problem is, I. Can’t. Stop. And honestly? I’m not sure if I even want to anymore. It’s really relaxing and helps calm me down, while also being able to help keep me engaged in tasks I need to focus on. It’s not doing any harm, and it just makes me feel a worse when I try to repress it.

Is there anyone else out there that does something like this? Or understands why exactly it happens? My curiosity is killing me. Where is the science behind this thing; It seems really specific for just mindless fidgeting.

So… what do I do if I accidentally said “Love you, bye.” to my crush as I got in my car? I sat there for a few minutes afterwards staring at my steering wheel and processing what I just said and contemplating the meaning of life.
