Happy Holidays from the Ballet San Jose Trainees! Celebrate the season on Sunday, December 15 at 8:00pm at the gorgeous Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, with a FREE performance of new choreography and classical favorites! The Trainees and students from Ballet San Jose School will perform new works by Dalia Rawson and Mads Eriksen, as well as classical variations coached by Le Mai Linh as part of St. Joseph's free series of performances "Seasons of Hope." American Ballet Theatre Principal dancers Julie Kent and Marcelo Gomes will dance the balcony pas de deux from Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet next month as part of Ballet San Jose's 2013 Benefit Gala. The school year has begun for Ballet SJ School! As our studios are once again filled with inspired and hard-working students, let's take a look back at the summer with these gorgeous photos of the three casts of Principals who performed Swan Lake Act II at our Summer Intensive Showcase. We'll see more of Brittany, Elise, Casey, Ryan and Zachary this season; they have accepted placement in the Ballet San Jose Trainee program!
