some time ago i thrifted a decorative pillowcase specifically because it had cranes with pretty wings on it. the other day while going through my patterned fabrics i came across one that had these big flowers with a matching style -> paired the two fabrics to make this kind of drawn-looking cute little outfit. and because i don't like patterning, any time i make a cute little outfit i need to make an entire doll to sew & glue it on.

Another art doll!!! I made this two years ago for a cool art class elective! For this one we had to make characters embodying aspects of ourselves using 4 different mediums, the crew of you. This character in particular is about my love of making OC's and thinking about them as my little dollies. :3 I think the head in the clouds motif worked better in my concept, but I'm happy with the execution overall!

😎 and there's my concepts! ⬆️I'll post the others, except I didn't really like how my last spikey kitty turned out in the final piece. 😓 a failed bleached shirt experiment.

I finally graduated this May so I'm trying to find more time to make stuff like this again amongst building up my portfolio!

argh, I can still see the dark grey base of Pink girl's head despite primer and many layers of pink airbrushing

I unfortunately over thinned the pink paint with airbrush thinner and can't go back the other way because I have no additional custom pink to add. so it was very difficult for my unskilled self to apply without ruining the texture with runny paint. had to do like a half dozen super misty layers so far. and it's kinda looking like I need at least that many still to go.

white pony had a lighter grey resin base and a thicker coat of white primer plus a sort of greyish goal color anyway so she's looking okay to me atm

and it's raining today 😠

( August 2025 ) Here's my Lookback Shiwoo that I've used to reshell/replace the modded Tika head. I incorporated similar design elements but I'm much happier with the way that they look. I entered them in the faceup contest at Resin Rose 2025 and did not win but I'm still proud of them haha. I actually tested a bunch of lower lashes digitally before deciding that I really just preferred them with the thick liner only.
