I was just thinking about the inherent horror that would come with making a clone of someone who is remembered in history and dead.
You are not your predecessor but everyone thinks you are. You have not lived the same experiences yet you are expected to be the same. Their actions and deeds are reflected upon you before you even took your first breath.
You are made from the genetic material of someone who is dead. They gave no knowledge or consent into your creation. You simply are.
I think a lot of people who made great discoveries did so because they fell in love with the subject material over time. A compounded series of good experiences. Would a person like Einstein fall in love with math the same way if he was forced into it and expected to finish the calculations of a man he's never met? A man who he will likely not have the same thought processes as him.
What about the people who were made from the material of people who were not good. Who conquered or hurt. You have never committed those actions yet you are blamed anyways.
I don't know I woke up and this is the first thing I thought about.
