“My only relief is to sleep. When I’m sleeping, I’m not sad, I’m not angry, I’m not lonely, I’m nothing.”

Kit Kats are made of Kit Kats.
The manufacturers leave no Kit Kat uneaten, so every reject is mashed into a paste that’s used to fill the wafers. Because every imperfect Kit Kat was already filled with other imperfect Kit Kats, and some of the Kit Kats they’ll fill will also be rejected, every time you eat a Kit Kat, you’re basically eating layers of Kit Kats within Kit Kats within Kit Kats.

How do I explain to you people that interracial relationships are okay
Not every white person dating a POC is fetishizing. White people can be respectful and responsible when it comes to culture and relationships and not everyone has bad intentions.
Asian people can date Black people without you saying shit like “your kids will be so pretty” they’re not dating for pretty kids. They’re dating bc they like each other.
Someone can dress their partner in clothing from their culture if they want. Someone can take their partner to cultural events if they want.
People in relationships can share cultures, experiences and love without it being toxic or skin deep.
Their partner isn’t culturally appropriating. Their partner is being shown the ultimate form of love, bc their partner trusts them and loves them enough to share their history and heritage.
Yeah, dating someone from your culture is nice bc you automatically have similar experiences. But you’re not limited to dating people with the same experiences. Loving someone is sharing and growing and being together.
Interracial relationships aren’t always toxic, and some of y’all need to stop projecting onto other people.
👆 THIS 👆 👏👏👏
Calling ineterracial relationships toxic or fetishizing just seem like anti race mixing or racism with extra steps
peace over drama,
distance over disrespect.
one of the things I love most about assassination classroom is that we go through the same rollercoaster of feelings towards koro sensei as the students do
(spoiler warning)
so from the start, them killing him is super light hearted. it’s just like, “oh, it’s a normal tuesday, time to kill our teacher.”
but as the show progresses, and the students learn more about him, it’s a lot more like, “wow I know we have to do this but…he teaches us so much and cares about us a lot. he believes in us and makes us better as people.”
then when we learn the truth of how he became who he is now, his past with yukimura, and his true motivation for becoming their teacher, and that he’s not destroying the earth by choice, that’s when it truly hits the students (and the viewer) that “oh FUCK I don’t want this octopus man to die.”
and then we see as nagisa and the others push so much to try to find a way to save them, even going as far as to oppose their other classmates. we become hopeful, that maybe, there’s a way to save him.
then, he’s trapped by the government, and it just hits you that no, they’re not going to save them. them going to see him isn’t them saving him, it’s them making sure they get to survive and that he dies by their hands, as was his wish.
his death was one of the most painful deaths to me of any fictional character. the hope that we have that he can survive somehow, only to be torn from us without warning. and then, the entire build up. everything in the last few episodes after he’s trapped hurt me so much and was so impactful.
it’s truly a masterpiece in my opinion.
it landed itself in my top 5 anime, which I wasn’t expecting going in. I was expecting it to be much more lighthearted (which it is for the most part) but I didn’t expect that it would hit me as hard as it did.
and honestly, that’s something I love about it. somehow they took this show that seemed so cut and dry, super lighthearted, and then turned it into something deep and meaningful.
I love this show, and if anyone read this without having seen it, please give it a chance. it’s truly worth it.
Anyone else remember that Red Eye guy from Assassination Classroom’s field trip arc?

literally everybody who has ever been kind to me has made me kinder in return
man Mob Psycho 100 really looked at "extraordinary/superhero teen" narratives and said "it's fucked up we expect a child to solve these fucking problems, what the fuck, they should be focusing on growing and developing their interests and making friends, not dealing with this bullshit" and it literally, textually, had the most prominent parental/nurturing figure tell Mob he would take care of the problem, even though he had no superpowers, and it literally, textually acknowledged that Mob HAD THE RIGHT to run away and wash his hands off the problem because it wasn't NONE OF HIS RESPONSABILITY to fix adult bullshit, and not only that, but it also gave Mob many many narrative foils, children who had been caught up on feeling the obligation to be "extraordinary superhero teens," because how else could they be special?, and said these children need to realize it's okay to fail, and they need healing, and then GAVE IT TO THEM. and it's Mob's own shortcomings and his impulse to better himself what inspires others to grow. like talk about a breath of fresh air. I love that story so much.
