this fandom is so eloquent and then there’s me who couldn’t manage a proper about me page since i made an account :’D anyhow onto the point i’m bangnine, an eastern european twenty-something illustration student currently living in the uk.

tolkien had been part of my life pretty much since i was 5, but i only discovered this ship after watching botfa. ever since i had a soft spot for it not in small part because of the amazing fandom (so much great art, fic and edits, and so little drama:). lately i haven’t been very active due to some real life issues, and my current main obsession, black sails, but when i am, i draw fanart (and when i don’t, i procrastinate on my sideblog come talk to me).

now onto the cheez: thank you @barduil for organizing all these lovely events, @northerntrash for writing some of my favourite barduil fics and being an all around lovely person, and @allfatherthor for writing an amazing fic for me for the previous barduil gift exchange (i so owe you a lengthy thank you comment for it 💙💙💙), if you guys haven’t read it yet do it now: The Wounds We Share

i was told you love modern aus, so here’s barduil living together somewhere in recent days (in a lakeside house, with a lot of nature around it). i sort of imagine bard having a job that requires him to get up at ungodly hours, which thranduil disapproves of, but once he’s woken up he just shuffles after bard into the kitchen half asleep demanding coffee and cuddles until he wakes up proper. hope you like it. 🙂

Sterek London series [1/?]

Last time I was in London I entertained myself with the idea of Stiles and Derek hanging out in town, then season 3 started and turns out Jackson’s in London, so the idea developed into everyone visiting him the summer before collage. I’m planning more pieces with Stiles and Derek (maybe the others would appear too), but considering how long this one took I can’t make promises on a quick continuation. Anyway, I used my own photos as reference for the background, and copious amount of photos of Hoechlin to get Derek’s face right, but he still ended up grumpier than I originally planned. Though my guess is that even if he’d enjoy the trip he would pretend to be bored (but would let Stiles drag him across the city anyway and secretly enjoying himself).

don’t worry text posts are not a thing here, but since so many of you followed me this summer i thought it’s time for one. to the point:

i absolutely love you all. i’m so happy you like my art enough to actually follow me and reblog my drawings and write lovely things in the tags. it’s so much fun i love to read them and i’m never over that people actually like what i do for fun. thank you

this is a fanart blog. i have quite a few fandoms and ships that might change over time. right now it’s mostly the hobbit / barduil (potentially tragic ships are my jam). i also do sterek fanart from tw because even though i’m not active in the fandom much anymore i still have fun requests piled up from last year which as you can see i’m going through slowly. like.. real slow. i’m so sorry.

if you want to see stuff i like and the occasional opinion or personal ranting you should totally check out my other blog. i reblog pretty edits and amazing fanart, rec fanfics and cry over my favs. i’m also on twitter where i rant even more.

summer is always the most active season of this blog because that’s when i have time for drawing whatever. which means that from now on i’ll post less often as my summer just ended and i have to focus on course work and being an adult. i still check or tumblr / run the queue on my other blog so if you feel like messaging me it’s more than all right.

^doesn’t mean i won’t post for a year. just that a bit less often, as during the year i focus on drawing things that actually get me my grades and hopefully a proper job in the near future.
