it's so interesting to me that Narrator thinks that, to destroy death, he needs the concept of change, specifically, to be destroyed.

Cuz, like. yeah, sure, the process of dying is a transition, a change. but. that's not really death itself? If anything, Quiet is the one holding most of the stuff we usually associate with 'death'. Stasis. An eternal nothingness. A soul forever unchanging in a black void. Rot and decay is not really death as much as it is a process that can lead to death. And even that is circumstantial, since there are many other processes that can help circumvent those. And in Narrator's perfect world, none of those processes would be possible, but death would still exist. Whatever died before will remain dead, forever. with nothing being able to grow from it since decomposition first requires decay

On another episode of "AI ruins everything," I'm currently mad about how hard it is to look up synonyms now.

I used to search for synonyms in Google, and at the very top, I would see all the different possible meanings of the word, along with a bunch of synonyms for each separate meaning, and each synonym would be a link to the definition of that new word, and there was a list of antonyms below the synonyms. I could usually find the word I was looking for in a matter of minutes.

But now all of that is gone. Instead, there's just the stupid AI overview at the top of the page (because I can't get rid of it), and it only has like three synonyms max for each meaning of the word. I don't want the top three matches- I'm looking for all the options.

I think I need to get myself a thesaurus.

- Since she was born in an island with stupidly hot weather, I really think she would be used to wearing clothes made with natural fibers like cotton or, since she's a priestess and the chief's daughter/sister, she would 100% be used to LINEN. When she starts living in Grand Trad she 10000% outsourcess the materials so she can keep having comfortable clothes because WTF IS THIS HORRIBLE TEXTURE YOU EUCHRONIANS LIKE TO WEAR? AND FUR???? - Even knowing Eht was a lance and not a real, actual deity, she still follows the teachings and customs of the dragon religion. Hey! She spent 18 years embracing them, and she is STILL the mustari's priestess! That doesn't dissapear in a night, and most of it is harmless and gives her comfort.

- Beaing able to threated people with summoning Eht and knowing she can actually do it, 100%, no questions asked also gives her comfort. You better watch out!

-She once literally scratched a hole into an important document because it was implying something very nasty about Will, and she was not going to allow that. No, that it was an official document that nobody was going to have time to fix before submiting it did not stop her. If anything, she just looked very proud of having done that.

my favorite trope isn’t really “forbidden love.” it’s “strongly disapproved of love.” no one can stop the two characters from being together; it’s not illegal, but, boy howdy, nobody likes it very much.
