Gotham Parallels: Oswald Cobblepot and Barbara Kean

1.Season One: Oswald tricks Don Maroni and Don Falcone into fighting each other; after killing former mentor Fish, Oswald ascends to power because he’s the only one left standing.

2.Season Three: Barbara betrays former mentor Oswald, by setting up a war between him and Ed. Her goal is to grab power, like Oswald did, and for at least one similar reason-she was tired of being an underling.

In Barbara’s case, the question is not whether she and Ed will try to betray each other-it’s when. Who will stab who in the back, first? Also, what about Butch, who despises Ed- is he waiting for a chance to get revenge?
