Someone take photoshop away from my sleep deprived hands. I saw someoneâs tweet with the original photo and I just HAD to.

I donât want to give him the pleasure.

Found an article that talked about the classic rom-com structure and you cannot tell me this is not exactly whatâs happening/gonna happen with Ted & Rebecca.

Extra Soft Tedâą â Season 2
Ted Lasso is a perfect example of a show not needing to surprise or shock its audience and still be entertaining and must watch. Story is easy to follow and see where it will go - the journey is in watching how the characters react and go and Grow through those beats. I want to see the things telegraphed happen so that I can watch the journey unfold.
They trust their audience to not need flash, and to care about the emotional character arcs more instead.
That is good storytelling. We need more of this on TV and less of the very random out of nowhere twists and turns for pure shock value.
(Also the discourse around s2 was so so SO dumb I canât even and will not even get into it.)
That see you next year in the new promo... Doesnât sound to me like see you next season, after summer... đ

Ted and Rebecca saluting each other can possibly be a reference to how Ted gives people the green army men, and how itâs a symbol of Ted and Rebecca being each otherâs âbackupsâ whenever one of them is a âfallen soldierâ BRB CRYINNGGG
Wanna bet Ted & Rebecca sort of reconnect in 2x10 but by the end of the season Ted finds out about her and Sam and it all goes to shit?
