running the final session with the battlemaps cast to the tv through foundry. well i say final session but it's more like final sessions plural seeing as we've had 2 so far, and they haven't even met strahd yet. enjoying playing around w the modules and excited about the potential for running another game using it!

my last few session notes. without any big details:

rahk has obtained a hag wife courtesy of Morgantha after their Crimmbis episode. Whenever this is brought up his player reminds us all that Rahk is in fact fully gay, not straight, despite being the one to without hesitation kiss Morgantha in the first place. it makes me laugh lol rahk has obtained a beard

they are now trying to kill Kiril

I gave him more HP than I normally would because I liked their idea and their intensive planning, and wanted it to feel more rewarding than just pummeling him to the ground in a turn (they kidnapped Bianca and did a whole bunch of Player Shenanigans to try and make it seem like she's lost her leg, etc. etc. ohh come alone). and they still did so well he still almost died in like a round LMAO, even with all his legendary actions and etc. used up

so i expect Kiril to die next session. but that'll be in about a month when we can play again

and then...... i believe they will progress to castle ravenloft to try and kill strahd himself. some people say that session should only last one session. but my players are wonderful roleplayers, and combat takes a bit, so i cannot imagine that being a one session thing... maybe 3-5...

it is astounding to think that this campaign is finally nearing the end though. BOY has it gone through a lot. i am a completely different person than when i started running it lol. i'm looking forward to running CoS again after a break, with a femstrahd based on the notes i wrote up before, some new players, etc...

I have so many ideas for that version of barovia. in another post of course. perhaps my next one. i'm waiting for my partner to come up so we can watch severance together :3
