…Is it wrong that I had it playing in my head showing the deaths of everyone, starting with Carla and leading up to Eren’s death?

Like…showing each of the characters in their last moments before death and, at the end, it’s Eren. Alone. Because he lost everyone. But the titans are gone and Humanity won.

Then the remaining members of the Survey Corps gathered the bodies of the heroes and had them cremated and buried how they wanted.

Sasha and Connie would be buried where their villages once were and those locations would become historic landmarks.

Jean would be returned home to his mother by another member of the Survey Corps, much like how Jean had to do it when he told Marco’s mother of his death.

Ymir and Historia would be buried together and it would be a royal burial for the Queen and her Consort, forever together, even in death.

Hanji, Levi and Erwin would buried individually in each of the three walls, continuing to protect and serve the people they swore to keep safe.

Armin’s ashes would scattered along the sea where he would finally be able to see it, his one dream coming true.

Eren and Mikasa would be buried where their home once stood, the remains now a historical landmark, marking where it all began and where it all ends.
