#ok but this is kind of adorable because they all love being called robin#dick hasn’t been robin in nearly a decade but he LOVES it. he loves it#jason won’t admit it but he’s probably all warm inside because he’s included in the family#for tim it’s more normal depending the chronology and he doesn’t find it any weird#and damian’s immediate thought is ‘father is calling the True Robin™ i better answer’

People really need to start using their critical thinking skills about which superheroes are and are not furries. Black Panther is a mantle passed down for generations and NOT T'Challa's own fursona. His ancestor was the furry. Batman on the other hand is the biggest furry in town. Do you know how many sketch books of bats and batsonas the man has? He even calls himself Batman in his private thoughts, not Bruce.

I recently stumbled across a voiceover artist @waiting4codot ‘s  sort of fanficiton podcast for the Batman rogues?  And it is amazing and wonderful and anyway they do like, a southern accent for Johnathan Crane that I never thought of someone doing before but it is perfect and so unexpectedly scary like I LOVE it and I had to try drawing him.  

So I came up with a scarecrow design, with a bird mask because in this universe Crane’s costume is sort of plague doctor designed? But I love that burlap hay boy aesthetic so I tried to combine that with a more traditional Scarecrow style and got this.  

The right side is me trying to draw the way the voice feels in a more cartoony style. Inspired by some of the more realistic drawings on their blog and than paired down. The back lit doodles are inspired by this scene they did with him. Which is one of the first things I heard and also just really excellently scary.
