My childhood home isn't the last house my parents had together

nor the one my mother bought because i really liked the trees

(she has since cut them down, despite them being my refuge)

instead, my childhood home is Evans basement,

and "my" spot on Zach's old couch

its the way i no longer knock

and my toothbrush is still hidden under the sink

my childhood home is the drawer of my favourite snacks, along with a change of clothes, that Audree kept for me

it's my mirror at my dad's house

and the folding stool i used to jump off singing to the radio

Instead of one place, though some were constant,

When Phil and Kristin decided to be foster parents, they were not expecting to get kids so quickly. There was a local boys home that was shut down and due to there being so many boys there, the foster system had lots to rehome. So when a call came in that they had teens for the two, they were ready.

Due to it being an emergency rehoming, Phil and Kristin ended up with five boys total, thankfully they were all teens and all relatively well-behaved, but the difficulties they faced were obvious.

Each boy was given his own room and a few items of his own. They had arrived with almost nothing and so late at night that any extra shopping would have to wait till morning.

The five boys were obviously close to one another, and during the first few nights, they would all crowd together in the same room to sleep.

Though with lots of positive attention and care, they all started opening up. Feeling safe enough to sleep alone and allowing their personalities to show through.

2. A semi-popular indie band releases a song that becomes a hit.

3. A person who ships aforementioned Minecraft YouTubers writes an angsty fanfic of the two of them and bases it on this hit song.

4. The fanfic explodes in popularity among the Minecraft YouTube community. This only adds to the popularity of the song itself, and it becomes more well known.

5. It also becomes so popular that the two Minecraft YouTubers themselves know of it and one of them actually reads it.

6. The indie band discovers that their song has become very popular in the Minecraft community; they follow the two Minecraft YouTubers on Instagram.

7. The two Minecraft YouTubers then begin to continuously reference this fanfiction and cause both the story and the song to become even more popular.

8. One lyric of the song becomes especially notable as time goes on because it references the “middle of June”

9. The middle of June arrives

10. The Minecraft YouTubers tease their fans with Tweets about the middle of June, once again referencing the song and the fanfic.
