My friend Cydney’s teacher believed THIS was ok to put up. It’s transphobic as fuck, and the schools gone into a whole riot about it. People are getting horrifically upset about her. Her girlfriend’s brother is trans, and both are getting hurt by this poster.

NOW despite the fact like half the school is arguing against it, their teacher STILL will not tear it down. She believes this shit is ok. Cydney tells me they’re are now debating on trying to get this on the news.

Whenever Deku wants to play his music loudly, Katsuki just turns off his hearing aids. The green-haired nerd used to apologize for it profusely, so he'd made a point of deliberately -- and with great, dramatic exaggeration -- turning them all the way down in the middle of Deku's anxious sputtering. Without them, he can hardly hear anything at all, so it works out fine. Deku can blast his music as loudly as he wants, and Katauki can study without feeling any sort of murderous intent toward his roommate. His feelings are complicated enough as it is.

Besides, if Deku wants his attention, the nerd knows how to get it.

A scarred hand appears in his line of sight, tapping the top of his textbook -- a quick, short three-tap beat with his forefinger. Katsuki glances up to meet those wide green eyes, resting his cheek on his propped fist and grunting to let Deku know he's got Katsuki's focus.

Mapo tofu for supper? His signing is still a little clumsy, but Katsuki can admit that he's picked up fast enough to be impressive. He's so earnest about everything -- art, music, communication. He's like a sponge, desperately absorbing knowledge and finding ways to make himself useful with it.

Clicking his tongue thoughtfully, Katsuki nods. He can feel the vibrations from Deku's music through the floor; it's soothing. Tapping the same spot Deku had with the end of his pencil, he gives the nerd a significant stare and lifts his head to sign at him. He slows himself down so the other boy can keep up, but at least he's not as slow as he was a month ago.

Study for midterms. If you fail, I'll kill you.

He can't hear Deku's laugh when his hearing aids are off; that's the only thing Katsuki regrets.
