Here's another thing that's not Batman. Whoops!
I haven't drawn Batmen in a long, long while...because I've been busy at a new job & making this comic! My friends and I in the Dread Arts Company will be putting out the above-pictured anthology, "Modern Tales of the Future #3" at C2E2 next weekend in Chicago. We'll be at Booth #110, fully prepared to receive money and convert it to comics. I did the cover this time around & have an 8 page comic inside, illustrating a friend's story about a scientist ridding her apartment building of vermin. So...yeah.

By request, Fred Flintstone has an encounter with Bat-Mite. Here’s where you can place your requests…I draw what I like, but if I like what you suggest, I’ll draw that!

Jason “Hamburglar” Todd continues his streak of vengeance against the murderous hamburger clown that murdered him. He’s going to take Ronald McJoker down one burger at a time.

Clayor McFace, whose face already looks enough like a hamburger that to shape it like one would be overly literal. I always feel like drawing things that don’t have a specific anatomy to reference is “cheating,” but damnit, they’re usually the most satisfying to draw.

Great C2E2 weekend! Put lots of books in a lot of hands and we’re excited to hear what people think about our latest stuff (which you can BUY HERE). Couldn’t have pulled it off without some big help from Betsy Canario and Philip Bertulfo (who wrote a 6 page story in our new Modern Tales of the Future #2), both champs at manning a booth. David Luzeniecki (wrote a story in MTotF2) was unavailable, due to baby-having and Erica Smith (wrote AND illustrated a big story in MTotF2) lives in a far, far away land from which she sends us wonderful comics to print.
I've been busy putting out my new comic (see above!), but I'm super glad to see some more people following Batman of the Day! I'm starting a new job at the end of May and stopping my current job in less than two weeks, meaning I've got two weeks of time completely free. I will undoubtedly be drawing some Batmen in that timeframe, and am sitting on about 6-7 sketches in a particular bat-series that I want to ink well and color before posting up here.
In the meantime, THIS IS THE LINK WHERE YOU TELL ME WHAT BATMANS YOU WANT and maybe, just maybe, I'll draw what you suggest.

"Death in the Family Plot" - I've had this comic strip in my head ever since Damian died and finally took the 20 minutes out of my day to slap this shit-show together. I've been reading a lot of "Hark! a Vagrant" lately and wanted to try to loosen up and do something more off the cuff feeling, like she does. She's much better at it than I am, but I'm glad I got this out of my system.
Place your Batman fantasies into this jar and I might make them Batman fantasy real life reality drawings!

Joker, successfully doing standup. All it took was a bath in some chemicals, the loss of a wife and child and a life of crime, but finally he got good at it.
If you've heard it once, you've heard it already. But here it is again: By clicking on this magical phrase, you will be transported to a place where you can tell me what sort of Batman to draw and I will maybe draw that Batman!
