dynamaxing, and gracie’s baseball gear.
gracie carries with her at all times at least one baseball bat and pitcher's glove, gifted to her by raihan. the bat is for the purposes of dynamaxing, and the glove for catching pokemon.
when dynamaxing her pokemon, gracie will toss the ball up in the air then hit it with her bat to launch it into the air, rather than throwing the ball; the bat she uses for dynamaxing is padded, raihan picked it out special for her. its intended use is for beginners/younger kids, but the padding keeps it from damaging the pokeball the way a proper wood or metal bat might.
she frequently keeps a second bat with her as well, though with it being a proper bat it's heavier than her other bat, and is primarily used for actual baseball--- and for being intimidating and threatening people, though she'd never actually take a swing at someone who didn't really deserve it.
she considers the glove super lucky, as it seems to help her get a lot of extra critical captures--- after obtaining the capture charm, she pretty much exclusively lands critcaps.
