Did You Know? Storing Your Beer Did you know? Bottled beer should be stored upright and not on its side. Storing it upright prevents contamination from the cap and minimizes oxidation.

Ingredients
6 oz. of beer (half a bottle)
2 eggs
1 cup flour + 1 cup for dredging
2 tbsp. oil
salt
pepper
Old Bay
smelts
Quick Tartar Sauce
3/4 cup mayonnaise
capers
1 shallot
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
salt and pepper to taste
Smelts Preparation
In a bowl, add 1 cup flour, add the eggs, oil, and beer. Mix until smooth.
Season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoon seaweed (kelp)
powder
2 cups hot water
2 eggs
1/2 lbs. chopped boiled octopus
4 chopped scallions
chopped pickled ginger
fish flakes
bulldog sauce
oil for frying
