βbbkangsβ:Β
Although she enjoys her visits to the roof alone, this moment was her favourite by far. Sheβs an open book as it is but she felt more open. And it was a nice feeling. She was sharing something dear to someone thatβs dear. Even with a forced hug.
This was certainly a perfect time β to confess a secret.
βCan I tell you something?β An ominous aura hugged her words.
The sudden but forced hug takes Sooyoung entirely by surprise, but the usually unaffectionate vampire is rather surprised to find that--she doesn't really feel anything adversely to the hug Sungmi gives her. In fact, the hug only served to soften Sooyoung's heart.
Just for a tiny bit. Not much--but a tiny bit.
So she reciprocates the hug with a squeal of her own, rocking Sungmi as she chuckled lightly, her tall stature dwarfing Sungmi's own.
"Hm. Should I be prepared to murder someone? Or to stock you away somewhere safely? Somehow, I have a feeling that the news you're about to give me isn't something that I'd be rather happy with." She cups Sungmi's face, flicking the younger girl's forehead ever so lightly.
The humour in her voice drops ever so lightly as she peers at Sungmi's face intently, pausing to consider for a moment if the other girl was truly in one of her rare but more serious moods.
"Alright. Spill." And its back to a worried business like face that she reserves everytime she needs to tackle something with Sungmi embroiled right in the middle of it. There's an underlying tone of sisterly concern that bubbles from her Ruby lips, as she patiently waits for the other girl to disclose the information to her.

He was quiet, following her into the elevator. His fingers trailed over the button to the seventh floor, before pressing it. Once the doors slid close, he moved, pressing her gently against the cold metal of the elevator. βJust because I enjoy vanilla sex immensely, does not mean Iβmgentle,β he reminded softly, fingers creeping up to her hip. He regarded her musingly, other under moving to tilt her chin up.
βAnd what a wonderful feeling it would be. To have you, the mighty, powerful Sooyoung, submit to me,β he breathed, smirking.
"Ohhh, that sounds very much like a challenge doesn't it?" Sooyoung all but purrs as he tilts her chin up with a slight tilt of his slender fingers. "How exciting." Dark eyes sparkled like the blackest obsidian in the night as Sooyoung hummed teasingly, running her fingers slowly up Venus' clothed chest tantalisingly, raising her eyebrows challengingly as she purposely let her fingers catch against the hem of his shirt, cold fingers brushing Venus' skin ever so lightly but briefly.
She was playing with fire--teasing him, beyond what it went for their mutual friendship, just for the kick and fun of it.
The moment only lasts for less than three minutes, before the lift dings at their destination, and Sooyoung slips from his arms and out of the door, a tinkle of cheeky laughter bubbling from her lips as she whirls on her heels, leaning slightly on the door of the lift with a coy smirk on her lips, pressing her hand to her lips and blowing Venus a teasing kiss.
Tease--that was what she was doing exactly before the only other vampire she believed to be powerful enough to rival her, dancing a strange and dangerous dance, familiar and yet unfamiliar, considering that she has never truly considered the option of Venus actually fucking her--though the thought of it now excited the debauched vampire more than it actually should have been. Sooyoung knew it would be a battle of wills if they did, for they were both burning flames, dominant and surging for control at every moment their lust and bloodlust sought for control. That was exactly why they had hit off so well in the first place, wasn't it?
Sooyoung's tongue toys lightly against the sharpened edge of her fangs as she tilts her head, deciding to egg on Venus just a little further.
"Try me."

@selenambb
Sooyoung rarely finds herself hunting a second time for the same prey. But yet--here she was, hunting for Selena.
Yet Again.
The vampireβs teeth nearly grinds in chagrin at remembering how they had last parted. She had graciously given the hybrid the most wonderful time of her life, and in return, had been awarded with absolute radio silence the next few days.
Nothing.Β
Zilch. Nada. Not even a call or a text to say that night that she had arrived home safely--after all, the vampire had let Selena leave on shaky legs to return home all on her own.Β
Perhaps it was the fact that the mindblowing sex had blown the otherβs mind, or maybe perhaps it was because that she had been embarrassed. Sooyoung had scented that emotion off the older woman as she left, as though the thought of having sex with her--Park Sooyoung had been an incredibly mortifying and terrible thing.
The thought that Selena might have thought that irked Sooyoung to no end, the irritance building up to paranoia and then bubbling rage in her veins as the other failed to contact her over the course of the entire week.
Was she intending to avoid her? The very thought itself nearly sent Sooyoung into a boiling rage. Was she, Sooyoung, that terrible--that disgusting? That age oldΒ sense of inferiority that had built and settled in her bones in her youth threatened to rise from its chest again, and Sooyoung sucked in a deep breath to calm herself down, the echo of the words of her past fading in her ears as she turned her attention to the window of Selenaβs apartment.
But now was the time to ask more questioning instead of mulling over it all by herself. Sooyoung was sick and tired of waiting for the hybrid to contact her, the unknowing implication that the older woman had sent her causing her to fury to simmer beneath her skin like a bubbling pot ready to spill over.
Her slender fingers rapped against Selenaβs window. Once. Then twice.Β
A gesture entirely out of courtesy, considering how furious the little kitten had been when she had entered her rooms without any permission the last time that they had met.Β
βSo whats with not contacting someone whoβs given you the best fuck of your life, Selena?β She curls her body against the sill of the window, her leg dangling down into the room as she tilts her head, ruby eyes glinting almost dangerously.Β βRemind me--but I thought that you thoroughly enjoyed what we did that day.β The hurt and fury that she had felt in the subsequent days after she had smelt embarrassment radiating off the hybridβs body right after they had had sex, and the subsequent loss of contact that only seemed to affirm what Sooyoung believed---that Selena having associated herself and been fucked by someone like her to be something of a serious case of shame, as thought she hadnβt been good enough for Selena---had all been packed in that single sentence that she last spoke, cool, hardened and with a thin undercurrent of edgy fury.
βWas it really that embarrassing to have had sex with me?β Sooyoungβs ruby eyes narrowed slightly, her feet still dangling off the sill, never touching the floor as she glanced at Selena darkly, trying to assess if her own speculation of what the other had felt was indeed accurate.
bbparksooyoungβ:
Sooyoung never expects someone to suddenly try starting up a conversation with her. Perhaps its due to her naturally flirtish nature that seemed to make people almost immediately awkward with her, or that they could sense the bloodlust and bloodthirst curling off her aura in tendrils, despite the fact that she almost always tried to hide it.Β
Many of the vampires within the society knew her openly as the Fiction club owner, so when someone approaches her without a serious topic about the W network that Fiction seems to be related to and a lame but cute joke on their lips, it is an instinctive conclusion that she draws that heβs a new vampire.
A baby vamp. How adorable. The sly smile curls on her lips as she twists her body around smoothly to face the male, tilting her head as her lashes slowly flickered, lips slightly pursed as she contemplated truly answering his question.
βTrue blood, if you will.β Her eyes gaze at the young baby vampire lazily as she turned her face back to the bartender, who quickly busied himself with his empty glasses, cleaning the glassware repeatedly despite having done so once already.Β βWarm blood is always the best. Nothing is better than drinking blood from a direct source. Even TruBloodβ’ is just really second best.β
he really didnβt expect his joke to do anything. maybe a slight chuckle and the other would be off or perhaps an annoyed glare as they simply brush him off. the attention, although it was what he was aiming for, was making him quite flustered. heβs sure that even under the dim lights of the club she could make out his red ears. with the heat and how red they were they might as well have been glowing.Β
the description alone has seungjae wanting to throw his guts out onto this table. he knows that heβs already paler than he should be. the diet that he keeps isnβt the healthiest, but anymore and the blood or food is just going to come back out again ( heβs tried and the results havenβt been pretty ). despite it all, he hopes she doesnβt notice, even with how obvious all the signs are. he doesnβt need people to know that heβs an obvious target.Β
he doesnβt want to embarrass himself ( more than he already has ) but today is one of those days where his mouth and brain both decide to betray him. without hesitation heβs stuttering out a reply,Β βs-so do you drink it often?β heβs ready to slap himself in the face and excuse himself from the premises with that question. seungjae must come off as a complete fool to be asking a vampire if they drink blood often.Β
He was absolutely adorable, ears flushing like a prime beet on a platter, ready to be devoured and eaten. Its in that whim of a moment that Sooyoung decides that she would be very interested in keeping him around, his innocence an attractive feature for her to spoil or ruin.
βDo I drink it often?β She tilts her head lightly, as though considering his question seriously.Β βOh yes. Very.β The coy smirk she gives him is probably enough to send shivers down the young vampireβs back.Β βIβm a vampire, sweetheart. Of course I do drink it often.β She gives him credit for making her laugh, her white teeth glinting under the light as she shakes her head amusedly.Β βYouβre cute, young one. Whatβs your name?βΒ
Her ruby eyes glitter delicately under the shining light, irresistible and sweet, like rubies under the darkened light, tempting one to reach out and take the slim hand offered lightly.
βIβm Sooyoung. I own Fiction.β Sooyoung wants to see the colour of his face change abruptly at that information, to see--if he would treat her any differently now that he knew where she came from and who she was. It would be incredibly intriguing. Fun, really. Sooyoungβs tongue tasted the corners of her lips as she stifled a grin threatening to flit its way across her lips.Β
bbparksooyoungβ:
Sooyoung nearly purred with excitement at the mention of Venusβ pup, her eyes brightening at the thought of the little ball of fluff. Her mood having clearly risen to better heights, she slipped off the couch just as the waiter came around, her hand slipping into Venusβ own as she coyly leaned over and pulled the waiter towards her by his collar.
βDo make sure to let your boss know that we were being gracious tonight.βShe savoured the words with an amorous but lovely smile, her ruby lips parting as she breathed those words into the male waiterβs ears.Β βIf Venus hadnβt convinced me otherwise, I would have been in a much more..bloodthirsty mood.β Her white teeth glinted in the flickering light as she pressed herself to Venusβside, long lashed eyes glowing slightly as they brushed over the frozen stature of the waiter, the little restaurant bustling with life, and completely oblivious to the close brush of danger it had had with the mercurial and easily angered vampire.Β
βLet them know that cold blood isnβt the way to please people that could kill them with a single blow.β Her fingers neatened the waiterβs collar as she smiled coyly, before whirling around on her booted heels and moving towards the entrance of the restaurant door, a dark cloud brewing upon her pretty face.Β
βYou know what would make me feel better?β She scowled as they moved towards the entrance, the surrounding already dark from their brief stint in the gothic restaurant.Β βSome kinky sex and a whole cup of warm blood.β Sooyoung grumbled. Her fingers itched with the urge to hit something, the coiling pit of anger usually so easily dampened having sprung up on her unexpectedly with the stint of congealing blood, the unpleasant blast from the past more than enough to make her bloodthirsty side reach out and desire to hurt either herself or someone.Β βBut you did say Aku has been pining for me, the poor dear.β A faint flicker of a smile darted across her lips as she peered at Venus through her long lashes, tilting her head lightly.Β βWhat made you say so?β
Venus allowed Sooyoung to threaten, watching her with a small smile. He was use to his friendβs temper. He was just grateful he could usually calm her down. It he couldnβt, well, there would have been an even worser mess on their hands and he didnβt particularly feel like killing the entire place in order to protect her. He would, just didnβt feel like it. He was hungry and tired and there appeared to be a few vampires in the restaurant as well. He didnβt feel like killing them either. Again, he would, just didnβt particularly want to.Β
βWell,β he started, a bemused smile falling across his face. He chuckled.Β βI can provide the cup of warm blood. And my sex is usually quite vanilla even if it does break the headboard sometimes. So I can really only provide you with one of those,β he continued, tugging her along and out of the godforsaken restaurant.
βHe always is like,Β βwhereβs Sooyoung?β to me, of course,β he teased before giving a half shrug.Β βHe hasnβt done anything in particular to imply but, dogs get quite happy when they see someone they havenβt seen in a while. And you, my dear friend, have no seen Aku in quite some time. So, of course heβs going to flip out with excitement. Heβs a cute boy, entertain him for a little,β he murmured, tilting his head to the side as he spoke. It was phrased like a question, but of course, kind of a soft demand. Not that it was negative at all, of course. Sooyoung was a friend. A close one, Venus might even say.Β βIβll get you some warm blood. I just stocked up my fridge. And some wine? Maybe?βΒ
Sooyoung gave a sigh of approval that sounded like something between a hum of absolute appreciation and excitement. Wine was perfect. Absolutely, perfect.
βWine sounds absolutely tempting, especially if you flavour it with a bit of blood.β Sooyoung hummed happily in approval to Venusβ choice, a light smile playing on her lips as she imagined how his puppy would be like, terribly excited to see the bloodthirsty vampire. Pets usually shunned her, due to the amount of blood they could scent on her body, Sooyoung eventually found that fact out rather belatedly. But perhaps it was because that Aku was a pet of a vampire that he was much more immune to her bloody scent.
βPooh. Vanilla sex--you should remind me to try out your version of it one of these days. Iβve only had kinky sex because of how pent up I am. It should do me well to have a rare chance of paces, every now and then.β She twisted around, sending Venus a charming but coy smile.Β βBut only if youβre interested of course.βThe word twists around her lips like a snake bidding its charming master.Β βWouldnβt it be all that interesting to actually find out how the great and terrible Venus would be like in bed. Iβm usually the more twisted and kinkier one in bed of us two, I would definitely say--though which of us is stronger would be something else entirely different to find out, wouldnβt it?β Her feet glide into the elevator that she rarely visited, despite having her living quarters designed within the one of the apartmentβs penthouses.
βI sure havenβt been back here in a long while.β A tasteful hum bubbles from behind her throat like a low purr as her fingers flutter along the buttons naughtily.Β βWhich floor are you on, again?β
bbparksooyoungβ:
Sooyoung choked at the mention of the mafia just days before. She remembered having to stop the impulsive blonde from just taking offβluckily she was fast and had quick reflexes, but really, Sungmi was like a wild cannon ball, ready to fly haphazardly, anywhere and everywhere at a momentβs notice.Β
βPlease donβt remind me of it.β Sooyoung groaned jokingly, peeking through her closed eyes as she humoured the other girl, stumbling alongside with her lazily as sheβs dragged along to wherever the other girl had desired her to go.βAnd I am already following you.β Sooyoung subconsciously shoves all the moving bodies away from the younger girl, as though protecting the other girl whilst humouring her with seemingly drunken staggers. Sungmi was oddly important to the older vampire, the younger girl reminding her terribly of her own selfβshould she have had been an innocent youth. In a way, Sooyoung was imprinting much of what she had lost on the younger girl.Β
Protection.
Familial feelings.
Siblings.
Everything she felt that she would have ever had should she have had a regular family. A faint smile graces her face as she watches Sungmi drag her around like a floppy doll, a chuckle bursting from her lips as she waits to see what other girl truly had in store for her.
The momentΒ a hand was visible and free, Sungmi grabbed it and began guiding the taller one through the club. With both girls displaying a smileβa giddy one on Sungmi and a chic laugh for the otherβearned a few whistles from perverted men as they headed to the restricted staircase. Naive Sungmi gave them a smile. They must know about the fireworks too. Endless research was done to learn the exact time and location of the New Years firework celebration. It was set up in the park down the street so the rooftop would be the perfect view. Although the pyrotechnic display mimicked the sound of gunshotsβwhich tenses her body into a statueβshe adores the art it creates in the sky. Itβs a relaxation and awe everyone needs to experience.
The rooftop welcomed the two with a cool breeze and secluded atmosphere. The party from the street was muffled to a peaceful murmur. The night skyΒ was clear of interference. Every star was visible, even the shy, dull ones. This was Sungmiβs heaven. And she was excited to share it with someone who has easily becomeΒ a guardian in her heaven.
βJust look.β An astonished whisper left her breathless. Their entwined hands finally separatingΒ as she ran ahead, her neck cranedΒ back to gaze upon the sky. It was a completely different world from the active building just below. This is where Sungmi is found during a break in her shift. Even on nights where the sky is hidden behind clouds.
Sheβll wait for the stars. Just as she hopes Sooyoung will waitΒ for her through the darkest of clouds.
Sooyoung always find the innocent quality of Sungmi utterly redeeming and frustrating all at the same time. Redeeming, because of times like this--where she would attempt to show her the beauty of things that Sooyoung herself never found the time to explore, and frustrating, because well..
It was just Sungmi. The younger girl had qualities that could be both exciting and frustrating all at the same time, which made a rare fondness bloom in Sooyoungβs chest, and just to humour the girl, she lifts her face towards the darkened heavens, the eyes glancing glazedly, fleetingly across the darkened skies for barely a second as she moved towards the younger girl to lightly grip her hand, swinging it lightly with a hum on her ruby lips.
βThereβs nothing but clouds up there, Sungmi.β A soft laugh echoes within her voice.Β βThereβs nothing to look at.β A despondent note of loneliness echoes within the timbres of her tone.Β βThere always is nothing to look at--β
It was a fact that Sooyoung herself had stood by, having been trodden down by those she considered to be her closest family, their lack of belief in her leading her to be who she truly was today--a sadistic, strange, psychopathic beast, who believed in nothing but the utter atrocities of the worldβs reality.
βJust look.β
The sheer insistence of the other girlβs soft voice turns Sooyoungβs head to the skies again, to really pause in her steps and look-- and the older vampire finds her breath entirely ripped away by the multitude of the stars glittering like diamond faucets in the sky.Β
βIts-Its just stars. Whatβs so pretty about them.β The shaky note of awe in her voice totally betrays her starstruckness, the seemingly blased way that she tried to downplay her own surprise probably not lost on the other girl, who at times seemed far too intuitive for her own good.
@bbparksooyoung
seungjae never had a problem with the vampires. it certainly was quite a shock to wake up and to see that creatures that you could only imagine in fiction were suddenly sharing the streets with you, but personally he didnβt think much of it. he was interested and a little scared, but he thinks that could be considered a normal enough reaction. as time went on and vampires became more and more integrated into the society seungjae just treated them like anyone else. did he ever expect to become one himself? well, he was too preoccupied with far too many other thoughts to really linger on that for too long.Β
either way there was no going back and so the wordsΒ βadapt or dieβ truly were the best summary for his situation. thatβs to say the transition wasnβt easy. integrating himself into the vampire world has been the biggest challenge for seungjae, but with his confidence levels rising heβs decided to take the first step into that world.Β
heβs heard of fiction and itβs title as the only vampire only club in seoul so if thereβs anywhere he should start then itβs there. his contacts are off for the first time and although initially he hated his eyes for how light of a red they were, as they were hard to hide even in the dark, it seems he wonβt have a problem tonight. heβs just hovering by himself off to the side, deciding against ordering a drink for himself as he didnβt want to be judged by his vampire peers for his physical reaction towards blood or anything similar to it ( luckily the club is dark enough so that he doesnβt really have to see the details ). working up the courage he tries to start a conversation with the closest vampire,Β βso are you aΒ TruBloodβ’ or true blood type of person?βΒ
he can only hope they donβt think his sense of humor isnβt too awful.Β
Sooyoung never expects someone to suddenly try starting up a conversation with her. Perhaps its due to her naturally flirtish nature that seemed to make people almost immediately awkward with her, or that they could sense the bloodlust and bloodthirst curling off her aura in tendrils, despite the fact that she almost always tried to hide it.Β

bbparksooyoungβ:
The New Yearβs event was loud, demanding and everything that Sooyoung hated. Well, not really hated per say, but she was merely content with sitting around and staring at people that were currently partying instead of dancing amongst the crowd or throwing back drinks. Times like these were absolutely perfectβfor her to gather various informationsΒ about others.
Like the man over there with the cropped hair and well dressed vest, the cuff of his shirt slightly dirty, and the collar of his shirt a tad unkempt.
Desperate. Needy, Probably Single? The fashion choice of his clothes, outdated at least for a a few months down the road told her so. At least till her eye caught hold of the ring glinting on his ring finger as he felt up the woman opposite him, grinding on her like a dog in heat.Β
Married. Her lip curled sweetly at the information to file away,Β eyebrows popping slightly as she turned at the sound of Sungmi calling her, a slight twitch of a smile turning up the corners of her lips as the eager but younger vampire, even if she did interrupt her whilst she was trying to gather information.
If it was any of her other employees, Sooyoung would immediately throw them out, or even kill them without qualmβbut this was Sungmi, whom sheβd felt strangely close to ever since the younger started working here. True, they only had a few years of difference between them, but perhaps it was the younger girlβs adorable innocence that called out to her, or the danger she was almost prone to always throwing herself in. Sooyoung chuckled lightly, turning to smile fully at Sungmi.
βNow what kind of ideas have you been coming up with in your head? I know that it canβt be something simple or easy.β
Sungmi has the ability to lighten any darkness and it was proven once the other gave her an honest smile. Theyβve shared a similar history so it didnβt take long for Sungmi to let her guard down and allow Sooyoung to be the amenity she needs. She likes to think they both bring something to the table. If not, sheβs definitely working on it.
βItβs the simplest and easiest thing! I just need you and your time.β She spoke with a skip in her step. Her smile couldnβt possibly widen any further. Majority of the time SungmiβsΒ ideas of fun or relaxation can turn south expeditiously. However, just this once, it doesnβt have a hidden meaning. Or so she hopes.
βI need you to follow me. I promise you that this time it isnβt anything dangerous. Although to be fair, no one told me there was another meaning for mafia besides the game.β Her gaze shifted off as theΒ βgood timesβ were remembered. She played a game of mafia with children once which led her to believe βmafia near Itaewonβ was an invitation for members to join the game. Luckily, her escort was Sooyoung or else the naive blonde wouldβve created a mess. It was the last time Sungmi learned slang from children at the park.
She held out a hand,Β βI wonβt take no for an answer! You need a break before you murder someone.β Her outstretched hand wiggled impatiently.Β
Sooyoung choked at the mention of the mafia just days before. bbparksooyoungβ:
Sooyoungβs lip curled slightly at the firm tone Venus took with her, her nails scraping against the wooden table slightly, before her shoulders relaxed and a gentle but bored sigh exhaled from her lips.
βYouβre no fun today, Venusβbut I guess youβre probably right.β She wrinkled her nose lightly at his mention of the other vampires that were carefully eyeing them, and all those lessened rights that they had. Her eyes flickered slightly as she smiled delicately, a hint of bloodthirstiness hidden behind her ruby lips. That was why she had established her networkβfor the sake of helping vampire rights, though she did have her own purposes to be met.Β
βLeaving a bad review would be a tad too mild, even for us.β Her eyebrows popped lightly as she crossed her arms and legs, reclining back in the seat.Β βTalking, sounds like more fun.β Her teeth glittered at him as she grinned almost widely.Β βAnd fine, as long as theyβre heated, Iβm good with returning to your penthouse. It would be easier for me anywayβI havenβt been home since ages ago.β She casually mentioned her own residence in the same place where Venus lived, as though it was some troubling thing to return home and live right there.Β
Sooyoung did rarely go home, preferring to camp out within her own nightclub for the sake of convenience, and the ease of her own sexual escapades. Her pent house had too many booby traps to be considered safe, every moment should she have allowed any of her pets to entire that space would be spent worrying which wrong tile theyβd step on, instead of focusing on the matters she wanted to focus on at hand.
Venus knew that going home was definitely on the bottom of Sooyoungβs list. But he was grateful he managed to calm her down.Β He didnβt like using a firm tone with her, never did. She wasnβt a child, and definitely wasnβt his child. He just didnβt feel like cleaning up a mess tonight. Here, in a place surrounded by other vampires and humans, there was no way to easily just leave without slaughtering everyone. Given that a lot of the customers (all of them) were vampires, that would not be hard but definitely unpleasant and tiring.Β
βItβll be warm. I promise. And you can see Aku. He probably misses you, yβknow,β he smiled, referring to his little dog. The fluffy little thing he was. Always happy and friendly, however. But he did have his select few people he favored from everyone who visited Venus. Sooyoung was one.Β
βLets go, shall we, then?β he smiled, standing. He wasnβt bothering to pay. No, there was no need, when they were dissatisfied. He wouldnβt. Fresh blood? Hell, he wouldnβt be surprised if it wasnβt even human. A sigh passed his lips as the waiter came back.Β βWeβre leaving. This was suppose to be fresh blood. It isnβt, and has been sitting out for hours. Please send a complaint to the owners.Β Let them know if they are suppose to be serving fresh blood, they better serve fresh blood, or there are some vampires that arenβt going to particularly like being duped. And no, we do not want a newer glass. And Iβm not paying for this garbage,β he muttered coldly, offering a hand so Sooyoung.Β Β

βRemind me to kill whoever who suggested this restaurant to me.β She grumbled to Venus, taking a step towards the entrance of the restaurant and smiling almost bitterly at the human server at the table, plopping herself as though she was home onto the soft leather couch.Β βWho knows? And the woman that haunts Jayuro highway? Be more creative.β She scoffed, a light grin creeping across her face.Β βIβd like to meet that fantasy Jack the Ripper here. Thoughββ She turned her head as the server placed two drinks in front of both vampires.Β βOh fuck no.β The drink itself was a cup of blood, oozing ruby red and yet congealing at the sides, clearly having been set aside for ages. Lumps of congealed blood dripped from the straw as she lifted it, her face darkening into a deep snarl as she threw the straw away from her, instinctively shoving aside the sloshing congealed cup of blood. Congealed blood gave her bad memories of her own childhood, which she deliberately avoided.Β
βIβm starting to think that perhaps we should just close the doors and give them a very vampiric fantasy night of their own.β She was getting more and more inclined to simply reaching for the nearest server and to sink her fangs into their necks.Β βWhat do you think? Maybe we should have just gone with hunting instead, heck care all those people on a look out for more human dead bodies to stir up trouble.β Rarely did she lose her temper like this, or care less about the vampire community so callously. But one thing was clear, the cup of congealed blood had stirred up the bad blood in Sooyoung, and she was more than willing to abandon her own concerns and kill for it.
Any hopes that Venus had for the place to be anything other than awful was completely gone whenever he saw the cup of congealing blood. He scrunched up his nose. It also smelled awful. And definitely wasnβt even completely fresh blood. He could smell trublood in the mix. He sighed, shaking his head, but his immediate attention went to Soonyoung, who was noticeable upset. And she did have every right to be. This wasnβt very appetizing. But as always, he stayed calmed.Β
Venus shifted in his seat, pushing his own cup aside.Β βNo, Sooyoung,β he spoke softly, looking to the vampire who was similar in age.Β βNo.β He was a bit more firm, calm and collected, as he tilted his head. Normally, they didnβt butt heads, but he stood his ground, a bit challenging towards her.Β βThereβs too many witnesses. Too many waiters and waitresses. With the vampire rights and police everywhere, it would be a death sentence, Soonyoung,β he reminded.Β βWeβre like people now. With less rights. But still, we can be charged with murder. Multiple accounts. And must I remind you, that we donβt die, and they can and will serve us life sentences.βΒ Though, Venus did knock over the glass with a frown, face full of disgust.Β βLeave a bad review. Or we can talk to the owners and ask them why they advertise fresh blood when this has obviously been sitting out for over an hour. And it isnβt even warm. How about we just head back to my penthouse? I have some blood bags. I can cook up something,β he offered with a shrug.
Sooyoungβs lip curled slightly at the firm tone Venus took with her, her nails scraping against the wooden table slightly, before her shoulders relaxed and a gentle but bored sigh exhaled from her lips.
βYouβre no fun today, Venus--but I guess youβre probably right.β She wrinkled her nose lightly at his mention of the other vampires that were carefully eyeing them, and all those lessened rights that they had. Her eyes flickered slightly as she smiled delicately, a hint of bloodthirstiness hidden behind her ruby lips. That was why she had established her network--for the sake of helping vampire rights, though she did have her own purposes to be met.Β
βLeaving a bad review would be a tad too mild, even for us.β Her eyebrows popped lightly as she crossed her arms and legs, reclining back in the seat.Β βTalking, sounds like more fun.β Her teeth glittered at him as she grinned almost widely.Β βAnd fine, as long as theyβre heated, Iβm good with returning to your penthouse. It would be easier for me anyway--I havenβt been home since ages ago.β She casually mentioned her own residence in the same place where Venus lived, as though it was some troubling thing to return home and live right there.Β

Sungmi is equally independent and dependent. When it comes to taking care of others; sheβs an ace. Sheβs able to run a bar by herself and keep it sparkling by the end of the night. But lacks self-care. Daily, sheβs learning to love herself as itβs a long life. However, sheβs far from where she needs to be and the one that brings her care was under intense pressure at the moment. It was time to give back.
The New Years street party was more overwhelming then the workers imagined. Every inch of the road was occupied by people as well as every open store or affiliation. As expected the food vendors and bars were hit the hardest. It was a huge celebration. There was five staff working the open bar and Sungmi was one of them. There was a constant flow of people to the point of the vampires becoming exhausted. Only one had a workload of a horse and it was the boss.
βIβm going for a break,β Sungmi told the other bartenders while removing her apron. She had a plan and it was put into motion. The final piece? Sooyoung. It wasnβt difficult to find the other as the howling of demands were overbearing the music. A bright smile tore SungmiβsΒ lips, displaying her white teeth. She was a brave soul facing the wrath many wonβt dare too.
βSooyoung!β She calls out in a gentle tone.Β βI have something important to show you. Will you come with me?β
The New Yearβs event was loud, demanding and everything that Sooyoung hated. Well, not really hated per say, but she was merely content with sitting around and staring at people that were currently partying instead of dancing amongst the crowd or throwing back drinks. Times like these were absolutely perfect--for her to gather various informationsΒ about others.
If it was any of her other employees, Sooyoung would immediately throw them out, or even kill them without qualm--but this was Sungmi, whom sheβd felt strangely close to ever since the younger started working here.
