biography:
The south had always felt like home to Bailey. From a young age he and his siblings were helping their father on the farm tend to all of the animals as well as making sure they were able to get the crops taken care of so they could sell any products they had so they could make some extra money. They weren’t completely poor but they weren’t living the luxury life which is something that Bailey and his siblings never cared about. They tended to think that money came with arrogance and unappreciation and they never wanted to be like that. In High School, Bailey was incredibly popular even though he was the farm boy. Their family was known well around Dawsonville, GA as having some of the freshest produce and you always wanted more of it once you were done. Bailey didn’t have a lot of time for extracurriculars after school since he had to be home, but he did enjoy being in the choir. The family was able to spare a couple hours each semester for his concerts that he would have with the group. He loved singing and it soon became an outlet for him to channel all of his feelings. While running the far was something his father wanted him to do, Bailey wasn’t interested in it. He wanted to leave Georgia and go somewhere else. He always appreciated everything that his family had given him, but he wanted to know what there was outside of farming. Bailey got into college in South Carolina for a simple business degree. He wasn’t sure where he wanted to go into life but knew it was more than just the farm work. He always wanted to do something with his voice as well, but he knew it wasn’t practical so it was something that he tended to just do on the side at karaoke nights. After graduating college, he was just putting in applications for any business job while working as a barista at a local coffee shop in South Carolina. He remained there for a few years while he was also working as a bank teller. He liked the job, he was good with counting and math and enjoyed serving people, plus they were always going to need banks because there were people who were always going to be looking for loans and to have cash on them. He felt like something was missing though and he decided to get onto a dating site where he didn’t have his location preferences set and he met someone who was living in Kismet Harbor. The two hit it off well with one another and he decided to take a weekend trip out to Kismet and they had an incredible weekend and he loved the ambiance of Oregon so he decided to pack up his car and move out to Oregon so that he could see what their relationship would hold. Well, it didn’t last terribly long but they have become good friends and Bailey doesn’t regret moving out to Oregon as he has been building a life for himself and he has plenty of opportunities to grow here as he was already promoted to the lead teller at his current bank, where they told him they wanted to make him a financial officer by the end of the year.
