Our little lady can't get enough of her big brother! They were supposed to be taking a nap, but instead she popped right up and they started chatting and squealing back and forth. This is what happens when kids share a room. We may all have the flu, so we didn't get any sleep due to a miserable toddler constantly waking up- but my little lady went from laying on her belly to sitting up for the first time!! So that's exciting! #bearfootmama #hittingmilestones #beingsicksucks #findingjoyinthelittlethings #momlife

To stretch our dollar 💸 (and because Little Miss kept having diaper rashes- we think she's allergic to #KirklandSignature 😞), we dusted off our old cloth diapers! 🚽 We wanted to potty train our little man, but he is definitely not ready. He did not even notice he was peeing until it was in his socks. And the first day he did not poop at all. He pooped the next day when he was safely wearing a diaper 😕. Any great potty training ideas? We think we'll pause for a bit, so he's not overwhelmed or confused by the constant back and forth to diaper. We decided to stop #clothdiapering in Kansas a year and a half ago when we did the math and realized #Aldi diapers were cheaper than the water and electricity it took to wash the diapers. Then we moved to Utah and moved in with family for a few months, so we didn't want to bother them (they think it's gross, plus that's a lot of laundry hogging). Then our newborn kept having rashes and I wanted to wait until it cleared up so we wouldn't contaminate the cloth diapers with yeast or anything. But now it seems like the disposable diapers were causing the rash, plus we figured out she has eczema, so we've been moisturizing her bum (and body) everyday. Good stuff. I'm glad to be cloth diapering again. It feels great! Our toddler loves it, so that's a plus 👍 #trendlabbaby Hubby got home from Boy Scout Camp! Woot. He is currently passed out on my lap on the couch. #goodtimes How has your day been?

Living life #unemployed! Whole-wheat quesadillas and a grapefruit for lunch! We kept blowing past our grocery budget, so this week we decided to reign it in and catch up, which only left us with $94 to work with and WIC. So far we have only spent $.07!! Plus $21.71 in WIC, and it's already March 14th! Hubby is going grocery shopping today, so we'll reassess after he comes back! Do you think we can make it the rest of the month??
