hi, welcome to my therian, fandom, and more blog :]

i discovered the otherkin community way back in 2016, but i've always felt like an animal. i'm a grizzly bear, but i feel kinship to other kinds of bears too.

i feel some kind of connection to certain canines and possibly other animals, but i don't have a name for these connections yet.

in addition to being nonhuman, i'm a furry and a gamer. i'm also transgender (1 and 1/2 years on T) and disabled. i have DID but that's not particularly relevant here. i'm a college student majoring in history.

i live in the US and occasionally post political stuff (tagged with #politics)

my account is discourse-free and i want it to stay that way; that being said, i lean towards some transmedical beliefs, in case that makes you uncomfortable. you can ask about my views on discourse of whatever kind if you need to, but i don't like arguing.

What really ticks me off when talking about ai is when people are like "it's unavoidable" or "you'll have to learn to use it someday" or "its going to be part of the future" like no it's plenty avoidable actually if you have a spine stronger than a dandelion. You simply say "no" and continue to use your own goddamn brain.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you're on the spectrum and a teacher ever asked you whether you would like to teach this lesson instead since you clearly already know everything about the subject, they weren't actually impressed by your immense knowledge of the subject that you were proud to be sharing. That's just teacher code for "can you like shut the fuck up."

I have no strong feelings about Hamilton the musical one way or another, but the sentence "I wasn't aware that was something a person could do" is such a perfect way to precisely express the kind of "not judging, just baffled" response people sometimes inspire in me with their antics and activities.
