Over the past 8 months, the #BEATGlobal team has been training in video production and editing through the BRIC Media Share Program, and we are proud to say today we successfully completed the program! We had the opportunity to witness the fruits of our labor on the big screen, and share in celebration with all the other incredible non-profits who participated. In a few short hours we will be sharing the final product with you - a profile piece on Dante, one of the students in our #BeatBreakers program! These students at NYU have been studying the work @markmartincreative and I do at @beatglobal . They studied our beatboxing and a speech therapy course as well as developed technology that is easily accessible to blind and mentally handicapped students. In a short semester they developed a looping microphone, screen based reader and an online platform to share our work.
