Would you consider yourself a femanist, and if so, why?

I define feminism as a movement where a group of people fight for the equal rights for all. This movement “defined” as feminism was started by females, a few men, and primarily african american men, who fought for equal rights for women during the late 1800s and early 1900s. These women and men were fighting for both women’s rights to votes, divorce, own property and for blacks rights to be free, vote, own property etc;

Feminism is nothing new. It is not “trendy”. It is the ongoing fight for humans to want equality amongst all under their government.

Do I believe in femanism, yes. Why? I want equal rights for all humans under the body of government where I live, which is the U.S.A

I believe in fairness for all. If a man rapes a women and the law is 1 year in prison then a women who rapes a man should get the same punishment. If a female who has 10 years of experience flipping hamburgers starts at 5.00 an hour, then so should a man but if that man can flip 100 burgers faster and gets a raise, well that is fair.

I believe in fairness and equality. Do I label myself as a feminist? Yes, but I can do so because I understand the history in my country of inequality. I don’t blame men or a certain class of humans for the inequality, I blame us all. You can’t point fingers at one group. You have to point fingers at everyone because we are all human, we have all put someone down at some point and participated in a way in shaming another group of people.

I’m Back

Ladies and gents I’m back on tumbla and ready to blog. Yes I was away, I purge the internet every now and then because it’s good for you. I can’t believe how much I’ve changed mentally and physically. Know looking back I put my self through so much pain ( I can’t blame no one else for) I found that I was more confident when I stopped trying to please everyone else definition of beauty and started being my own. Sometimes we try so hard to be something we are not and we become so focussed on that , that we forget about the beauty we already have. I’m gland I can wake up everyday and see the person staring back at me and be proud of her. Of all of her . and say that I am her. Never let anyone tell you, that you aren’t beautiful because in the end you are the only person who can make that decision.

I promise you can accomplish anything as long as you believe in yourself. Being confident is something we all have in us, we just need to find a way to embrace it. Let go of your worries, struggles, and your past. Live in the present and look forward to your future. There are so many different things you can do to help yourself, you just have to believe you can and you will. It’s okay to fail, but it’s never okay to give up. Don’t ever let your past define you. You are all so beautiful and unique, just be yourself!

Hooded Eyelids

Ladies, men, whoever who has hooded eyelids and is sick and tired of them. I found a solution today. 

Long story short, I was cooking with eggs. I cracked and egg and got some of the egg white (the clear part) on my fingers. I touched my eyelid and maybe 1 minute later I felt it tighten there.

I checked in the mirror, no hooded eyelid. In fact there was a crease! I put the egg white on the other eye and kept it shut for a few seconds. When it felt dry and I opened my eye- aha crease!

I feel like this is magic and for so many people out there the smokey eye and winged eyeliner look can finally have its’ moment to shine on millions of faces.

We work solidly from 9 till 5 so our bosses can buy that third classic car whilst we earn just enough money to get us out of this town. The underpaid labour makes the muscles of our arms bulge beneath our skin and girls aren’t supposed to be strong, not on the outside anyway. But we know that’s all wrong because we can handle sand in our mouths, much better than any man that spits it onto the floor.
