the toilets in this gamer cafe have this quote on the wall and a speaker absolutely blasting the tetris theme on repeat... cannot describe how hostile this atmosphere is
dont worry about it :)
Perfect 👍
God I find something about this meme so haunting. Like the idea that the past is still there, exactly as it was when it happened, only there are no people because of course they moved on. And entire planet sitting there frozen in 1700 or 1820 or 1980 just completely Abandoned, and not even in a tragic way that suggests some great apocalypse, just the natural progression of time deeming this world no longer fit, no longer needed, and so we all simply got up and left, and it was so seemless and natural that we didn't even notice.
The endless Past stretching forever behind us less like a nebulous and unreachable concept and more like a series of empty rooms, like a museum or a graveyard or a house with no residents, moments of time that have served their purpose and hold some value but are no longer truly habitable for the people that once used them, discarded but still visitable, that despite their age show no sign of decay, the only true difference from Now the dated technology and the complete, all encompassing Lack of life.
A world discarded, moved on from. Yes, perhaps still loved and occasionally lingered in, but not a place we truly gain anything from living in. Somewhere we must leave, as we did the first time, for whatever comes next. A world that when you visit you visit alone, because everyone is gone, the absence of people a stark reminder...a warning even, that you cannot stay here.
There's just something about it that captures the essence of remembering or reminiscing that I'm not poetic enough to really articulate, but does Linger with me. It does feel like it's a warning against living in the past too much, but in an eerie, discomforting way that reads more...threatening than just a gentle reminder to move on. Like I know it's #NotThatDeep but I'm never gonna be able to stop thinking about this one.

How do you film this and not spoil the audio by laughing the entire time.
Topa Topa + Rare Barrel Harvest Swoon Sangria Style Kettle Sour (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. This is a really good sour with tons of acidity, reminiscent of others from Rare Barrel, but it’s super weird to call it a sangria-style kettle sour and have the can colored purple-ish, as you might expect something completely different out of this, i.e. a red-wine hybrid. Quite nice to sip – the acid builds up after a while, but there’s a nice bit of complexity here and white-wine like fruity notes throughout.
