I’ve been thinking about this a lot, but...I don’t really want this blog anymore. I honestly just created this blog as a distraction, and now... it’s not really needed. I’m sure you all have noticed it’s been FOREVER since I posted anything IC. I stopped feeling it. I was in love with the idea of making this blog, and I got so giddy on the idea... but in execution, being mean is exhausting. And impractical! I can’t do much with her except answer things.... I think I liked this blog better as a concept, as a way to explore (what I consider) one of the most intriguing mario characters, but it didn’t turn out like that. 

It sucks because I still have so many ideas for Beldam, but this isn’t the right environment. I’ll certainly  talking about her again, but not like this. 

It never felt right calling her my muse. I’d rather have the time for other muses I feel more connected to. 

I hope you all enjoyed your stay. This blog will be kept up, but won’t be updating anymore. I’ll refollow all you lovelies I was following on my new blog. Thanks for playing along! <3

Writing Commissions

Hey there! I know I haven’t been on much, and that’s going to change this week, but right now, I really need your guys’ help!

A few months ago I recently got accepted into college and plan to live on campus, but come to present day, and I still haven't been able to pay the down payment on living in the dorms ($300), which I need to pay soon if I want to get paired with someone and have a lot less rent to pay.

Unfortunately, I broke my ankle a few days ago, and I’m going to be mostly home-bound, and from what I’ve seen, all these ‘work at home’ jobs require a degree or work experience, which I have neither of. That’s why I’m going to craft you some enjoyable fics or drafts in exchange for some cash.  Please please please at least give this a look-over, and if you aren’t going to commission me, please reblog this and spread the word!

Everyone, meet Apollo! They’re a yellow luma and they’re....really weird. They never wear anything that matches, and no one really knows how they got on the Cosmic Observatory in the first place. Not even Rosalina. They just sort of...appeared one day. Apollo is, as you would likely assume, extremely odd. He has a wide variety of strangely specific and seemingly random talents, and has an equally varied array of interests. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to any of it, but Apollo swears there’s a method to their madness. They tend to hold onto little details of things, and enjoy them more than the main thing.  Despite what you may think, they aren’t stupid, in fact they’re rather smart. Just...odd. 

They’re very good-spirited about being strange, and never mind getting called out on it. They will yell at you if you insult their fashion sense, though. 

Apollo switches between using they/them and he/him pronouns, depending on how they feel!

((I wrote about this a bit more in-depth here, but the Shadow Sirens aren’t traditionally immortal. They age based off light exposure, and can simple....age themselves backwards in pure darkness, essentially cheating death for as long as they please. ))

((What I didn’t write about there is HOW the sirens chose to do this. Vivian lets herself age like she’s a normal person, coming out young (around 10) and only reverting herself once she gets old (like 70ish), Marilyn tends to stay in a safe 20 year age radius. But Beldam... she’s looked the exact same for as long as Vivian can remember. She’s been (roughly) the age for 1000 years now. She can’t move on from it. She may never be able to. ))

7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time & 12: Favorite book genre?

(( Well, you gotta remember she’s immortal, so she has infinite time to waste! :p Wasting time isn’t an issue for her, especially now that she has basically nothing to do. She’s also super super old, and she just spends a lot of time not doing anything because she’s gotta rest sometime!  (she doesn’t sleep.) Her favorite way to waste time is to complain, though. )) 

(( I don’t think spell books are a genre, so I’ll go with “Historical Fantasy”, although she’s always complaining about how inaccurate it is and how she’d never get into those situations. She will never be satisfied. ))

So like the whole premise I have going for the Shadow Siren’s UT fights is that you fight Marilyn and Vivian together, and Beldam on her own. That's because Beldam sent them to kill the human (aka you) so she didn't have to trouble herself. They attack with standard fire and lightning attacks, it's not too hard. Marilyn hits harder than Vivian does, of course, but Vivian's attacks are a bit harder to dodge. Your acts for Vivian are FLIRT, COMPLIMENT, ENSURE, and HUG. Marilyn's are TALK, WRITE, UNHUG, and HUG. If you spare one, the other will let you spare them the next turn. If you kill one, though, you can't spare the other. It's all or nothing, here. 

Assuming you're doing a pacifist run (or neutral and you spare them), you fight Beldam next. Your acts are SCREAM and CRY. All they do is make Beldam laugh at you. Her attacks don't hit exceptionally hard, but there's a lot to dodge, and she mixes in blue attacks too. She has a snowing attack, an ice attack that tracks your SOUL, and an ice hand attack that fills in most of the screen. After like 15 turns, she gets annoyed, and tries to get Vivian and Marilyn to help her kill you. They both say no because they now like you, so Beldam lets lose her ultimate attack, which is just a few falling ice shards. It's the easiest attack of hers to avoid. She gets annoyed and lets you spare her after that, because it's just not worth it anymore. 

If you're doing a no mercy run, or you just kill Marilyn and Vivian for some reason, Beldam will flee before you can fight her. She pops up again later and she is 1000000% ready to murder you. She makes some comment about how normally she can respect murder, but you shouldn't have killed her sisters. The tag line for the fight is “You shouldn't have made her mad.” Your acts are SCREAM, CRY, and PLEAD. None of them do anything. She now attacks with her (now stronger) ice attacks, as well as ramped up versions of Marilyn's and Vivian's attacks. Her attacks are all fast and hit hard. The gimmick with her fight is that you can't hit her, but her own attacks slowly do damage to her. Eventually, she drains herself so much her next attack will kill her, so she stops fighting you. If you try to spare her, she'll laugh at you, and tell you you're a horrible person and you don't deserve the luxury of redeeming yourself. She'll kill herself by letting lose one last attack on you. If you fight her, she'll die with a comment about how at least she's going to be with her sisters again. You get no gold.

My financial situation has just gotten a lot worse… I don’t want to bore you all with a ton of details, but basically my mom has been taking money from me without asking, around $200. She already owes me over $1,000, and has made no serious attempt to pay me back thus far. I’ve been having serious mental illness relapses, so I just don’t have the energy or mental strength to hold down a real job at the moment. There’s other restrictors too, like I can’t drive, nor can I learn how at the moment. I am going back to therapy soon, so ideally by the end of the summer I’ll be able to get a job, but right now the fact is I cannot. 

The only way I can make money at the moment is through my art or selling my own belongings, which I’d like to avoid for now.
