had my first animal ethics class today and i have to admit i am sooooo thrilled ... i was like euphoric for the entire class period. one month was too long to be without an ethics class. anyway on that note i'm thinking a lot about the political status of animals and whether citizenship could ever be meaningfully extended to at least companion animals, and also the implications that would have for animal rights. that's all
