beetle keeping is so ordinary in Japan that you can buy beetle jelly at their equivalent to 99 cent stores :(

These aren’t that easy to acquire it seems so i felt pretty lucky.
“Mombo” Orange Spot assassin bug nymphs. Large and very active. This is an old picture of them they are QUITE alot bigger now.
Very vicious with there prey,they will outright LEAP at food and impale them.
After one of the first heavy rains of the season, hundreds of these large, fancy red velvet mites left their holes in the ground to march around the yard. Cochise County, Arizona, summer 2018.

Today i got a mixed starter colony of Porcelain Roaches (Gyna) sadly this was the only mature specimen who survived. The rest were babies and thankfully they were ok.
Unfortunete my Giant Vietnamese centipede(Pictured alive here) appears to have died.
I can only determine it was from age because i had it for a good long while and it was a mature adult a few years old when i got it.
Still unfortunate,but expected it was refusing to eat many times.
I forgot to mention i rehoused the Little Bark Boy Escapee. Now in an enclosure he can’t spring out of.

My Baby vinegaroon after a YEAR finally molted and is now slightly bigger,also a much darker color! The first pic is him before he molted then the next are the vinegaroon now.
It grabbed a roach i dropped in not long after and carried it away to the burrow lol.
