The dawning of spring has got me thinking a lot about change and how the biggest changes are simply a culmination of tiny steps. Sometimes, so tiny the actualization of them is not even acknowledged, especially when we are constantly looking ahead to new ambitions. Take my journey with homemade dairy-free milk, for example. Having a steady supply was a task that, at one time, felt a little daunting and intimidating. But, as with anything, a little determination and action can go a long way. After many years, it’s now just second nature to have a rotation of almonds, tigernuts and cashews soaking in the fridge. And for the days I don't, I’ll make a quick batch of coconut milk. It’s a goal I have achieved that I completely overlooked because over time it has become an effortless habit. So, wild ones, what changes have you made that may have been overlooked? Take a moment to celebrate yourself and revel in how far you’ve come! And as always, you can find my tigernut and coconut milk recipes on the blog!
