So itâs been awhile since Iâve bound anything, but when I read the Cursed Amulet Story by @sunderwight, I was like, I gotta make an actual, physical evil amulet now. Except the evil amulet is also going to be a book. And the book is like a diary by the guy trapped in the amulet.
The book is held in the brass frame (also made by yours truly) by friction; it pops out super easily so you can read it but itâs not going to fall out accidentally.
The typeset fit into exactly one piece of normal 8.5x11 printer paper, and if anyone else wants the file to make their own evil amulet, Iâm happy to share.
I love that four different people on my feed scheduled this joyous person to reblog by 8am on June 1. I look forward to seeing this a dozen more times today.

Remember when joining fandom as a younger person meant lurking for a bit and figuring out the vibe and etiquette instead of coming in on day one and calling people weirdos for liking weirdo shit in the weirdo factory.
Bly had never really argued with his general like this, but he supposed that came with falling in love with them. The second Rex had lit those lightsabers he had wheeled on Aayla and asked for her saber, which she had not exactly taken well.
âYouâll die!â She shouted as she watched Rex fly towards the Sith and surely a quick demise.
âGeneral please! He's my little brother, I have to try!â
âI-â the twi'lek paused, her anger dissipating. Tears sprung to her eyes as the fighting lulled for a moment and time seemed to slow. âBly, please, donât leave me like this.â
Bly shook his head and quickly slid up close to her; always by her side. âI would never.â
Aayla took a deep breath. She watched as now Cody went flying towards his brother regardless of the danger, as Obi-wan no doubt had taught him. She could even just make out Plo Koon through the fighting, saber off and being offered to his commander.
The force was singing a battle cry, but it wasnât meant for her.Â
Bly let out a grunt as the saber hilt was basically punched against his chest. He went to take it and felt Aalya's other hand fall over his on the saber, it now being cradled between them on the precipice of something important.
A beat passed as their eyes met. Even with the helmet Bly knew Aayla could always truly see him. âI love you,â he told her, raw and quiet.
She gave him a small smile in return. âI know."
And as Bly took off towards Ahsoka's unofficial launch pad, watching Wolffe go howling through the air, he knew she loved him too.
