You could never please me as he could š„
your art style is so beautiful. what were your inspirations when learning to draw? iām so desperate to improve but i have no idea where to start
Retroinspection: learn to identify what really interests you and what drives you crazy. Draw things you love. You can explore a lot of art by many artists and try to find harmony by mixing various things you like about those artists, perhaps the way they stylize, the way they color, all of that. Take it as inspiration.
Victor, is it intelligent?
"The Bride is Elizabeth ā and their love is impossible." "A beautiful marriage of souls."
"Beautiful creature, is he not? Remote. Entirely bewitching, but so odd"
"What is not treated with love becomes distorted."
I cannot judge of your countenance, but there is something in your voice which persuades me of your goodwill and kindness.

Lily-Rose Depp on Ellenās Agency and Repressed Female Desire
āAnd someone said to me in an interview the other day, well, you know, isnāt Ellen like this victim? What is like to play this kind of victimized character? And I was like, well, I donāt think sheās a victim, at all. Because sheās kind of calling the shots the entire time. And he, you know, thereās a power play there. Heās [Count Orlok] trying to overtake her in this way, and, you know, destroy the lives of those around her. But, she calls out to him. And she makes the sacrifice that only she can make. She has a great deal of agency in this story that I felt we havenāt seen in iterations of the past.
And thereās a lot of, you know, themes of female oppression in this movie, of course, itās a part of the society we are representing as well [ā¦] and part of that is the element of sexuality, like repressed female desire, and Ellen, you can see from the beginning, has that within her. Sheās got that fire, if you will. And you see that mirror again in one of the first scenes when we are at the Hardings House and everything, and thereās this kind of steamy moment with her husband, and you can tell that she has that within her but doesnāt really know what to do with it. And then, thereās like the moment when Friedrich tries to kiss Anna and sheās like āreally? In public?ā.
Itās an interesting mirror because I think Ellen has so much going on within her the she doesnāt know what to do with because of the environment that sheās a part of. And I think that Nosferatu himself is the physical manifestation of that darkness and those darker desires that sheās learning to come to terms with, I suppose.ā
