Hi! I’m back!!

Few things to debrief.

1. Mirage is still in production!!! My computer decided to fuck me over act silly a g a i n. Thankfully the issue should be completely resolved. I didn’t even have it for like 2 months as it was with my grandma who took it to my home state to get it fixed. The first prologue (Teegan’s) will be out very soon!!! (exact date tbd) as well as a couple short comics.

2. I have some cc on the way! it will be mirage and non mirage related! Unfortunately though, all my ghost cc i had made was lost. Although, I’m planning something special for halloween!👀

3. Mirage’s official website will be live very soon!! This is where you can find everything!!! It’ll have an about page with general information (synopsis), contact, and some fun extras. It’ll also have a characters page where you can click and read a short bio about each cast member!! Finally, it’ll have links to the actual comic/story once it’s released.

4. I have some blender tuts coming your way babes. If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask and i will answer them in the tutorial!

Aww, thank you! I'm pretty much new to blender-render too, so I don't know if I can tell something new about it :D But okay, I'll show what I do. I use Eevee render in Blender. Cos I'm poor and can't afford myself cool Cycles that demands powerful PC. Cos it's... easier.

First thing is environment light. Depending on your idea you can change it into more dark, more light or really any color (or even environment texture!)

Let's change it to lighter color ;3

Next, set transparent background.

I like soft light in pictures with bloom like in 80-90s movies :D So I always add Bloom + Ambient Occlusion because in Eevee it's vital.

In most cases I add Sun light first. And set up Shadow quality, cos... again, shadow quality in Eevee is vital:D

Change softness, power, color for the sun light and also add Contact Shadows. (Cos it's vital?:D)

Add back light. I LOOOOVE when the light is shining from behind the model. Makes me *___*, so yes. Back light must be rally hard and powerful to make the trick.

I also love my model's faces, so I usually try to lit it up with extra light to make it clear and well seen ;3

Then add more back light. MORE!

Make some pose/light changes if needed, add some simple Ps edit and that's it! You have this:

i decided to do something fun like the decade challenge to reveal the new characters. i’ve come to realize quite a few things while making them

- braelyn with short hair makes me astral project

- teegan should’ve had blonde pieces from the beginning

- mirage would eat in ANY decade

here’s a summary of mirage: 

teegan sorensen is a rising metalcore singer who is just trying to make it big in the scene. braelyn quinn (ayala) is a world famous popstar known for her horrendous attitude. after celebrating their mutual friends, dating rumors go viral. will teegan be able to make a name for himself? will braelyn ever be able to be vulnerable and truly open up to someone? will the two find something even more special than friendship or will they go down in flames?

update on my computer!!!!! good news is my computer is fixable!!!!! there was an issue with the battery. thankfully everything will be saved so i will be able to continue on with the ghost (band) cc pack!!!! however, it may take a while for me to get it back. it’s currently with my grandma who took it to get fixed in my home state and she’s not gonna be coming back to visit me in the state i currently live in until may. so. hold on til may. until then be prepared for sneak peeks of the new and improved mirage sims👀

i have some really bad news. my laptop completely died on me. everytime i log in it’s just a blank white screen, ive tried every fix for it but i just cant get in. this means i lost all of my sims/blend files for mirage and all of the cc i haven’t released yet (including the ghost cc pack) im gonna try one more thing, i read that if i connect it to another screen i might be able to fix it but im not exactly hopeful as nothings worked, even trying to reset (keep files AND delete files) doesnt help it just ends up getting canceled halfway through. idk what to do and im just a little upset. hopefully i can get everything back but if not im sorry but everything is gonna be pushed back further. im so sorry yall idk what happened.
