December will be filled with happiness.
December will be filled with blessings.
December will be filled with progress.
December will be filled with kindness.
December will be filled with love.
December will be filled with opportunities.
I deserve tender, erotic, committed, delicious love. I am worthy of all my most vulnerable and wildest fantasies. I am ready to receive all that which is meant for me. I am in a new era with new experiences. My reality exceeds and transcends (my) expectations.
I love being a high maintenance woman. I love getting pampered. Nails, hair, lashes, brows, facials, massages, gifts, all of it. It makes me feel so pretty, and spoiled.
My grandfather was like âall countries have the pledge of allegiance recited by children at schoolâ and I was like âno?â And he asked my aunt who is from Japan and she was like âI mean at graduations and stuff but not oftenâ and he was like âIâm sure other places do it toâ so please in the tags comment what country youâre from (or continent if youâd rather not say the country) and if you have the pledge of allegiance in elementary schools.
Hi, Iâm from Mexico and actually here we recite the pledge of allegiance every single week in schools on Mondays, itâs called âhomenajeâ (homage) or âhonores a la banderaâ (literally: honors to the flag). Like I said, it happens every Monday in all schools (or almost all schools) in Mexico; we donât only have the pledge of allegiance but itâs more like a civil act, all groups have to get out to the main court and get in lines according to the year theyâre in in school and group. Each week a different class group is the one âdirectingâ the act; we have âefemĂŠrides de la semanaâ where kids mention important events that happened throughout history in that same day, then âla escoltaâ march with the flag and while itâs marching we have to salute the flag, and almost at the end we have the pledge of allegiance or âjuramento a la banderaâ like itâs called in Mexico, we also sing the national anthem and the school anthem (if there is one). At the end of the event, the school principal may say some important announcements and then we can get to class; this happens just before the first period. This act happens from kindergarten up until high school, and if youâre in a religious school probably there are days in the week with acts like this but religious, like a mass or just gathering together to say some prayers. I hope you had found this interesting, it really caught my attention that maybe itâs Mexico the only country in the world having a ceremony like this in schools lol.

A lot of times we read the Bible, and we search for specific answers to our problems. We are overwhelmed and tired in our jobs and relationships, and we read Come to Me, and I will give you rest. We are anxious about situations at work, and unsure how to move forward, and we read Do not be anxious about anything, but pray about everything. We feel so lonely and so misunderstood and so desperate to be seen and heard, yet unaware of where to go, and we read I will never leave you nor forsake you. And these passages are uplifting, but we sometimes press God, âOkay, but what do I do here? What do I say to this person who left me? Where do I go next now that I lost my job.â We seek specifics. We open our Bibles and ask questions that donât seem to be answered on those thin pages. But between each line in the Bible lies a simple, yet powerful statement, and if we listen closely enough, we can hear Jesus answering our specific questions. I am enough, He says.Â
A great theologian said, âGod wonât necessarily tell us what to do, but He will show us who He is.â And you can be sure this is all you need in any situation. We wonât always get the answers; but if we seek God, we will always find Him, and this is the better thing to have. In your great struggles and in your crippling confusion, the only encouragement you really need is that God is enough. He is sufficient. For whatever, whenever. His name is Yahweh. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh. It means âI will be what I will be.â
âI will be what you need today. I will be what you rely on next week. I will be whatever the day demands of you; whatever tomorrow requires, I will be sufficient. I am everything you need Me to be, now and forever.âÂ
Letâs stop demanding answers, and start seeking God. He is enough.Â
Her name is Katalin KarikĂł. Hungarian. Daughter of a butcher. Her thesis work became the basis of the mRNA vaccine technology. Read the article here.
My favorite bits from the article include how Dr. Kariko celebrated the fact that the vaccines that used her mRNA research worked
âOn Nov. 8, the first results of the Pfizer-BioNTech study came in, showing that the mRNA vaccine offered powerful immunity to the new virus. Dr. Kariko turned to her husband. âOh, it works,â she said. âI thought so.â
To celebrate, she ate an entire box of Goobers chocolate-covered peanuts. By herself.â
Everyone say thank you to Doctor Kariko since she literally saved all our lives

i will take care of myself first.
i will not allow others to guilt or manipulate me into doing things i'm not comfortable with.
i will stand up for myself and voice my opinions with confidence.
i will not hold myself responsible for the things beyond my control.
i will not let my happiness depend on other people.
Morning by a small pond.
