I need book recs for people who still aren’t over what the bellarke dynamic could have been if the hadn’t absolutely wrecked the landing
I'm doing a rewatch (only through the end of season 5) and I forgot how much I HATE b@cho
normal platonic bestie bro things to do with your homies you’re definitely not in love with
okay but like Day Trip is the best for some many reasons, but godDAMN the part that gets me every time is that bellamy blake – season-1-embittered-overwhelmed-cynical-skeptical bellamy blake – decides not only to trust clarke, but to trust her with his *life*. he decides to trust her enough to let her advocate for him with jaha. like. bellamy whatever-the-hell-we-want-there-are-no-rules blake who thinks anyone from alphastation can go kick rocks literally puts his life in her hands by letting her try to play by the ark’s rules to get his pardon. and when jaha first says no and bellamy offers him a trade for who has it out for him and jaha pauses to think…and bellamy so worriedly glances at clarke for reassurance!!!!
like i know everyone talks about the rifle testing scene and the post-fight tree scene from day trip but THIS scene is probably the one thing literally makes me so unhinged about them in this episode. he just is like…yes. you, clarke. i chose to trust you.
(and you know what makes it even better? although clarke does try to play by the rules by making a logical case to jaha, they eventually win by *not* playing by the rules, but offering that trade of information, which i absolutely assume was clarke’s idea because she’s the head to his heart AH!!).
In case anyone was wondering, I’m still deeply upset over Bellarke 🙃
#He didn’t stick the landing. #He floated himself.
wake up yall new uquiz dropped
let me judge you based on which random fictional characters you choose
uh @chsq what do you guys think
Stage 4 mom friend
Fair, BUT! I also encourage a lot of the non-harmful chaos, so
This is unnecessarily accurate
sometimes i wonder how the idea of clarke killing bellamy came to be. like did some writer or jroth just be like “clarke should kill bellamy”?? i cannot imagine the SHOCK to the other people in the room when that was said.
What should have happened:
I'm not sure if you've heard yet but Bob said there was a scene/ multiple scenes of bellarke becoming canon in 6x11 but they were cut. and there was also a second tent at gabriel's place 😏
I had not but really is anyone surprised?
I still want to know if they had a canon scene in 5x13. Someone ask him lol

listen, at the end of season two when Clarke leaves, you cannot tell me that if she stayed, her and Bellamy wouldn’t have gotten together because after rewatching that last scene and just how she was worried about him the whole season and vice versa, there’s no way it could have been avoided. and that’s exactly why everyone always says that the two of them get split up in almost every season finale because if they weren’t they’d already be together
Clarke: Well, you killed my best friend.
Bellamy married to Clarke for 132+ years:
Nathan Miller’s reaction to the news that Bellamy is dead was so good. His choked up voice as he took military command. The fact that he had to stutter the words, because he was still comprehending what he’d heard. Perfection.
"... my best friend..."
Guys. GUYS.
This is big for Bellarke. For Clarke especially.
Throughout the show, both Clarke and Bellamy have obviously been important to each other, but they're always quick to make sure not to make it personal.
"I need you... we all need you" type of declarations are all over the place for Bellarke. They never make it about the other individual. They can't deal with those close personal emotions. But all that is finally changing.
Clarke started it last season by finally admitting to Bellamy's face that he's her family. That was a gigantic step for her. Then Bellamy spent the entire season showing how much he needed her. Just Clarke as an individual. Now in the space of one episode, Clarke has admitted, out loud, to other people, that it's not just about "her people" anymore. It's about her family, her friends, and her best friend - Bellamy Blake. She can say that in front of other people now! She's not shying away from her emotions about Bellamy anymore! That's huge and good and if she stays on this track of acceptance and admittance of her feelings... well... there's only so much higher you can go than best friend (hint: it involves an "I love you").
i can’t lose you too, okay?
#bellamy was tripping over himself all of ep 2 to get to clarke and save her #and we got to see the extent of his devotion through this #but people downplaying clarke’s devotion to bellamy is so stupid? #the way they wrote how much clarke cares about him basically spans TWO EPISODES #throughout the first two eps of season 3 she’s fighting to survive #she’s hiding and trying not to get caught #and in literally 5 seconds she’s willing to give that all up for bellamy #so bellamy doesn’t die #bellamy braves a battle field of soldiers for her #and clarke gives up her life for him #they’re one and the same #they’re as devoted to each other as the other one is #and everyone that says otherwise is just BLIND (via clarke-griffin)
