There's less than a week of classes left and then it's finals season. So weird that I'm almost ¼ through my Master's. My current "to be passed" list is:

catalysis final (2nd)

statistics test (3rd)

IT for chemistry II final (6th)

advanced experimental methods final (9th)

I'm not really stressed about these but I still wish they'd be over already: I had to put thesis work on hold to study for finals and I want to go back...

look at these beautiful flower pictures of spring, I have no pictures of me actually working on research which is what I've been doing lol. Long story short, I thought I had fixed the issue w my simulation that made it really slow which it is better but its still much slower than my other simulation run. which makes sense because I increased the number of species (what elements / ions are in it) so obviously it'll run slower. but its running so much slower that it concerns me... Also, my advisor hasn't worked on this code in a while so I can't just ask her questions, I have to ask some of the developers. They're very nice but I just feel like I'm annoying them because I see no one else asking as many questions as I do in the Slack 😭

This might look all cozy and aesthetic but in reality I’m doing damage control - the week of studying I lost to being sick is getting to me & I definitely won’t be able to work through all of the leftover topics. For now I’m trying to not get paralysed by panic and fear of failure…15h until my linguistics exam.
