i am studying at the library. there is a woman sitting in front of me with her two children. there is something about her and this scenario that seems so familiar. she makes me think of me and where i hope to be in a few years.

she's probably in her mid-30s. i hear a west African accent. she's taking calls left and right and typing away at her laptop. flipping her hair to the side occasionally, almost routinely. lone gucci bag sitting on her left side. her son walked around the table in circles and repeatedly ignored his mother's requests to get a book. her daughter scolds him for being annoying.

if i can just push through and boss up, i'll get there 🥺
