Questions;

1) do items in the "gifts" section on Battle.net have an expiry date (how long until you can claim them)?

2) In World of Warcraft do promotional items (specifically mounts) use the mailbox system upon claiming it in the "gifts" section, or are they added directly to the collection/appearances tab?

I could only find info on cash shop items, so I'd appreciate some help. Thanks : )
